"Guys we should report the wreck to the coast guard. Maybe we'll get a finder's fee." Kie suggested hopefully. She wanted the boys to drop it and not go to the motel. Her eyes flickered over to Venus hoping for support, but the blonde was to focused on watching the ocean to notice.

"Yeah, and not work all summer. Thanks Agatha ya batch." JJ smirked at the idea.

He looked over at Venus who was staring deeply at the ocean, he knew that she was probably having anxiety about what happened. He wanted to go over to comfort her, but he knew that she'd act like everything was okay and shrug him off.

The five arrived at the office for the coast guard to report the boat, but due to the hurricane, it was extremely busy. Much to their dislike, the coast guards shrugged them off without batting an eye at what they had said.

"Well, that went well." Pope said, placing his hands in his pockets. He looked between John B and JJ, wondering what they had in mind on what to do next.

"So, what's the plan?" JJ questioned resting his arm on John B's shoulder, he glanced over at Venus who looked up at him with her big blue eyes full of anxiety.

He ran his tongue over his bottom lip as he looked at her. Her blue eyes were filled with sorrow and her nose was scrunched up slightly, which he knew was from anxiety. He walked over to her and swung his arm over her shoulder and pulled her against his chest.

"I know how we're gonna find the guy who owns that boat." John B said holding up the key for the motel room.

"I don't think that's a good idea," Venus pointed out, tilting her head to the side, "Anyone could be living there."

"V," JJ said almost pleadingly, "This could lead to the greatest adventure ever."

"He's right," John B said jumping on the bandwagon of convincing the poor naïve girl.

But again, some would call her naive, but those closest to her knew it was just her purity and they would do anything to protect that.

JJ dropped his arm and moved to stand in front of the girl, clamping his hands together and widened his eyes innocently, sticking out his bottom lip to make him pout.

This, of course, was more than enough to convince Venus that it was a good idea. She nodded and scurred onto the boat, excited for an adventure as they headed towards the motel. John B and Kie had managed to convince Pope as JJ was looking at the motel.

"I thought the Château looked bad." JJ whistled as they pulled up to the motel.

"This place is a shit show." John B said as he steered the boat towards the motel's dock.

"Motel or meth lab?" Kie questioned rhetorically.

The motel was a mess. Whether that was because of the hurricane or not was a different story. They had mattresses on the balcony and overgrown bushes. A few windows were broken, and the doors were hung off the hinges. If it wasn't for the few people coming into and out of the place in uniforms, you would assume it was abandoned.

"You be the judge." Pope answered, scrunching his face up in disgust.

"Doesn't look like a place somebody with a Grady-white stays." John B announced, taking in the state of the motel."

"No, it looks like a place someone with a Grady-white would get killed." Pope replied pessimistically.

"Or where someone with a Grady-white would go if they were trying to hide." Venus pointed out.
