IT WAS MONDAY, one of the most dreadful days but Adrianna knew it wouldn't be too bad since she had 2 amazing friends. "Adrianna!" Dahlia exclaimed, practically running towards her.
"Oh no," Adrianna whispered under her breath. "Yes?" Adrianna asked as Dahlia stood in front of her, panting. "There's— There's a new girl!" Dahlia exclaimed. She really had a thing for exclaiming. "Dahlia." Adrianna gave her best friend a look.
"When have we ever cared for new girls?" Adrianna sighed, "No, she's different." Dahlia rolled her eyes, "She actually likes good artists and has really good style, Anna." Dahlia was fascinated. "Oh." Adrianna smiled at her excited friend.
"You have to meet her, shes sitting with us at lunch." Dahlia informed, "Okay." Adrianna nodded, smiling at her friend who was practically hyperventilating. "Did you really feel the need to run up to me? Just to tell me there was a new girl?" Adrianna asked.
"Yeah, of course." Dahlia shrugged.

It was Adrianna's birthday, she was now 16. It was the first week of December, decorations being put up, the weather getting much colder than before, "Adrianna, I can't believe it's your birthday." Dahlia sighed, staring at her friend.
"Happy Birthday, Adrianna!" Their other friend, Brianna, cheered, Adrianna smiling brightly at her. "Happy Birthday, loser." Miguel smiled, sitting next to her, putting an arm around her. Adrianna looked at Dahlia, giving her a cheesy smile, Dahlia winking in the process.
"Gee, thanks." Adrianna thanked, sarcastically, causing Miguel to smile. Miguel had sort of ditched his friends, he did have a few, Mason, Andrew, and Kayden. Mason was his friend that had moved here last year.
The three other friends would occasionally sit with the group, depending on whether they had to study or some random class. "Are you doing anything today?" Brianna asked, "Hm... no. My dad is in California so I can't have my traditional cake making battle." Adrianna shrugged.
"What about your mom?" Dahlia asked, "She's been taking tons of shifts, said we needed more money." Adrianna said, fully confused. "Hm..." Miguel acted as he was hardly thinking.
"What if we do that cake making battle, together? I could bring friends, and you guys could all come, it'd be like a little party." Miguel suggested, causing Adrianna to turn towards him with a bright, big smile.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Mason hesitated as his friend, Tristan, held a handful of flour, ready to strike at anyone. "It's a great idea, actually." Tristan smirked, Adrianna stared at him, blankly.
"If you throw at me, I'll kick you out." Adrianna threatened, he looked back, slowly placing the flour down. "Good." Adrianna nodded.
Tristan, Mason, Dahlia, Brianna, Miguel, Madeleine, and Adrianna had all decided to have a sleepover, a big contest sleepover to be exact. "Wait, what groups are we going in?" Madeleine asked, staring at everyone. "I'll go with Brianna!" Dahlia smiled, "I'll go with Mi—
Mason was nudged harshly by Dahlia, a sound of her clearing her throat followed, "I mean, Tristan." Mason shook his head, "I'll go with Dahlia and Brianna." Madeleine walked over to the two girls with a bright smile. "Okay, I guess I'll go with... him." Adrianna gave Miguel a dirty look, looking him up and down. Miguel laughed.
