In a crowd of thousands,
millions and countless numbers,
with wives and their husbands,
kids, adults, mothers and fathers
be good to the orphans and widows
little things like this makes us heroes.
When you travel long distance-
with friends, and or aliens
among monsters for instance
between love, hate and patience
tide gently like the shadows
after all, that's what makes us heroes
Dance or fight when needed
laugh or cry when you are suppose to,
don't hide it when offended
or take it all when it's between two
know when to be full and hollow
these are what makes you a hero
You will be drowned, be lowered, be bowed
at times, you will pray for death instead
you should know it's a game, expect to be fouled
but stay strong, let your legs be in good stead
you don't have to walk around with shiny halo,
just wake up everyday and be your own hero.
