What is impure regression? Impure age regression is when a regressor slips into their little space involuntarily and they start progressing their trauma while regressed, meaning they have no control over it. It can be dark and scary due to childhood trauma. It is also explained as "Age regression, but instead of a way to escape negative emotions like depression and anxiety it makes it worse." And, "Essentially processing trauma while regressed." It's common, but a rarely talked about part of trauma induced age regression.
