You've started to loose count. It was close to 40 sleeps now. Nathan has been helping you out, but you had to take care of him.
They only brought the one plate of eggs. Two glasses of water was supplied.

You made Nathan eat the eggs. Every 2nd day, he would get the majority and the next you would split it. He cried most nights, hugging you and he started to wish he could go back home.

These...poor excuses of people would still torture you every day. But, it wasn't just with the chair. They made you train.
They put you in fighting ring with a man in black uniform and told you to fight.

You haven't won yet. But the man has never taken you out with one punch. Nathan stayed in the room. Nobody ever took him out.
But lately, he's been starting to sneeze, a lot. In the middle of the night you would wake up to find him in a cold sweat. You tried to warm him with everything you could, even yelling for help, but no one ever came.

You thought about Steve. You thought about Bucky. You wondered what they would have been doing now. Bucky was probably saving Steve from an alley fight.

Speaking of fights, you just lost another round with the man in the uniform. A small pool of blood leaked from your nose and lip as you collected yourself off the floor.

"Your brother isn't doing too well, is he." You heard Fengi speak. You looked up to him in a new suit. This one was red, but it had a pin of some sort of octopus on it. "It would be a shame if...he couldn't get better."

"You can help him. Can't you." You glared at him.

"We can do more. But we only have enough for one." Fengi paced around the room. "All you have to do is cooperate and he'll be treated."

"What do you want me to do." You didn't hesitate. You couldn't let Nathan die, not on your watch.

"We want you to become the greatest weapon known to man-kind." Fengi stopped walking and smirk. "The world will never see it coming. A young woman would be the last person they'd think of. Especially when the world believes she's dead."

"...what?" You took a staggered breath.

"Oh yes. If you didn't know. A car hit you in the rain, killing you and the boy. People ate it up." Fengi smiled slightly. "You no longer exist."

You took a slow breath, looking down to the ground. Your parents thought their only children were dead. Steve and Bucky think you are dead. They all think you are dead.

"We will make you Hydra's face weather you like it or not." Fengi walked out of the room.

Hydra...

Your lip quivered as you slowly realized your fate.
You wouldn't get out of this place. You were becoming a weapon to some evil group called Hydra or it was your brother's life. It wasn't fair. None of this was fair.

You let out a yell as you hit the ground harshly.
You didn't have a choice. This wasn't fair. This is cruel. This is how you have to live for god knows how long.

A hand wrapped around your arm, pulling you from the ground. Another man in uniform dragged you out of the room, taking you back towards the cell you sleep in.
He threw you inside, turning the lock.
As you let out a pathetic sob, Nathan's little hands wrapped you in a hug.

"Nathan. I'm so, so sorry. I'm sorry. I ca- I can't get us out...I'm so...I'm sorry." You pulled him into a hug.

He squeezed you tightly. "I know."
It was the softest voice you ever heard. You cried into his shoulder.

You didn't want to stay down here. You want to go home. Why did that have to be so hard?
Nathan started to cough again and he pulled away from you to direct his cough in the other direction.
You sniffled and shifted, moving yourself to rub his back.

As you looked down on the little boy before you, you took it in as the thoughts started to spiral in your head. Nathan was still a little boy, and to add to it, he was sick. You couldn't break down like this in front of him, he was too young to fully understand most of what was going on. He was a baby, you had to keep a strong façade while he was here. You couldn't let him know you weren't getting out, you had to give him hope.

You took in harsh breaths as you wiped the tears from your cheeks. You had to stay strong, crying wasn't an option anymore.
You wouldn't let yourself cry in front of Nathan, ever again.

His coughing fit, soon died down and you came back to your comfort. You scooted yourself to the warm spot and held Nathan close, running your hands through his to help him sleep.

You were going to help Nathan get better. Even if it costed your own life.

The next day, Fengi placed a bag over your head as he took you through the halls. You heard the sound of a door opening and closing before the bag was taken off your head.
A man with sunken cheek bones and a somber face stood in front of you.

"Hello." It was the thick german accent from before. You stared at the man with a glare. "Fengi told me you would be willingly to become ours."

"If you help my brother." You reminded him, making his eyes roll.

"Yes, yes. If i fix your brother." He sighed, annoyed with you. "Start the process!"

A pair of hands grabbed onto your arm, your got yourself whiplash as you turned to see who grabbed you. Two scientists with long lab coats pulled you back to the chair you've grown to hate so much. The metal clamps squeezed on your wrists, this time, one went around your waist.

"What are you doing?" You asked, fear rising in you as the scientist spoke in german.

"Winning." The man smirked before he turned to one of the scientist. He spoke in german, and you were left to dart your eyes around the room.

Something started to lower itself down towards you. Again, you could feel your heart beat go wild in your chest. Something attached itself to your head, sounding as if it was powering up. You could feel your hand start to shake, so you clenched it into a fist and tried to calm your breathing.
Your effort didn't last long as a brain-numbing pain shot through your body. You screamed, not able to stop yourself. Your head felt as if it was being clawed apart. The halls echoed with your shrieking.

You tried to move, but the metal clump around your waist stopped you. You jerked your body, wanting to leave, wanting to run away. You clenched your teeth, grinding them together as you couldn't breathe. Your breath was caught in your throat, refusing to give you air.
Your body burned, from the inside out. You twitched jolted in the chair, it wasn't letting you get out.

The scientist around you just watched, not helping you or trying to ease the pain. They just let your body burn. Your teeth felt like they were being pushed into your gums. Your eyes were wide, trying to see things, but black spots in your vision started to cloud up the area.

You felt yourself loosing things. Things from your mind. It was as if you lost pieces of your brain, but held the same knowledge. It was happening too quick. You could feel the warm blood drop from your hands as your nails dug into your skin and the small pieces of spit fly from your mouth as you breath to breath in and out.

Then it all stopped. Your hands shook and you gasped for air, heart beating faster than ever before. The scientists gathered around you, waiting for something to happen.
You glared at them all, trying to escape the metal clamps to attack them.

"Did it work?" The german demanded to know, slamming his hands on the table.

"No sir, we did warn you we'll fail most of the time." A scientist with a Italian accent. "We'll have to conduct multiple experiments, we have time sir. Operation Sealion is still being planned and won't be scheduled to execute until 1940."

"And Operation Barbarossa?" After no one answered the man, he threw a metal tray at a wall. He was fuming with anger. " What about Operation Barbarossa! If any one of you've fools know what it will do for Germany then you'll know something about only the largest military operation to be conducted!"

They started to speak german after that, but it slowly sunk in what they were going to. The year was 1937 and they had until 1940 to do something with you. If whatever just happened didn't work, you would be put through all that again, and again, and again.

You were be used a slave for some German Military Operation. And you agreed to it.
