"She hasn't spoken a single word since the night we caught her and she just stares at nothing all day long." Steve said as his friend, Sam walked into Tony's lab. "She was trying to delete something, but JARVIS is returning it."
"She turned JARVIS off, the little shit." Tony mutter from his desk. "And she's strong too, lifted half a ton and threw it at me."
"Like I said, she's skilled." Nat sighed from the corner as she treated her bruises. "She has more kills than any individual in the world, and that's only what was counted. She's not someone to mess around with."
"She's brainwashed. She's in the same situation as-"
"As your bestie-boo, Bucky?" Stark finished Steve's sentence....sort of."You saw how she acted when I started talking about her past. She's fighting, alright?" Steve crossed his arms. "If we push hard enough, we can break through."
Nat let out a chuckle, Steve turning to her with a questioning look.
"Oh come on...you really don't think it's that easy. She's dangerous, you know that. I've seen what she's done and how she's done it. Barely loses a fight.""Mjølner stopped her." Thor spoke up, glancing at his hammer.
"You caught her off guard.""Meaning she can be beaten." Stark added, with his usual tone.
"Tony...we're seven people. She's a single person and yet, she almost won." Bruce piped up. His appearance looked much more professional and tidy than when he woke up. "She wasn't even using actual weapons."
A scream from the other room made the Avengers on alert. Steve was the first one to arrive to the room Daisy was kept in.
A nurse was holding her hand that looked badly burnt."What happened?" Steve asked, walking towards the nurse.
"I don't know. Sh-she was having some sort of ...of seizure, so I went to see if she was okay, but the console burnt my hand." The nurse said, Bruce walked over and looked at.
"I'll get you fixed up, follow me."
Steve looked to the glass cell. Daisy was on the ground, her body violently shaking. Steve banged on the glass.
"Daisy!""JARVIS, tell me something." Tony walked in the room, followed by the rest of the Avengers.
"Sir, it appears Ms. Lavigne is being...electrocuted."Steve looked back to his friend, squinting her eyes. In her neck there was a small blue glowing dot that was flickering.
"Her neck."The Avengers stood around, not sure of what to do.
"Stark! Do something!" Steve yelled, walking towards the man."I..." Tony looked over at the console. "Ugh, fine."
Steve watched as Tony worked away, yelling at JARVIS from time to time. Once he finally got the door opened, Steve rushed inside. Daisy was still violently shaking when she was brought to Bruce's lab and placed on a table.
"She's shaking too much, if I cut her neck in the wrong place, she'll bleed out." Bruce said once he was told what was happening.
"Hold her down."
Restrained were placed on Daisy's body, keeping her moving too much.
Bruce then nicked her with a needle and grabbed a knife, his eyes carefully looking down to the shaking girl's neck.He gently pushed her neck to the side, stabbing at the flickering blue light. Blood spilled from her neck even with the smallest cut. Bruce grabbed a pair of tweezers and pushed it into her neck, grabbing the object lodged in her neck.
When the flickering blue cylinder was pulled out of her skin, Daisy stopped shaking and her whole body went limp. The only thing moving was the rise and fall of her chest.
