Chapter 37 Preliminary Exam!

I have created a team so that there can be some one to fight both Kabuto an Henna

We all stood still starring at Hayate, waiting to see what we had to do, before morning on to the third exam. We probley have to sign another form.

HAYATE:Ah um. What you guys have to to is a Preliminary Exam in order to move on to the real Exam

WHAT! Really after all that we have been through. Some of us don't have the stamina of chakra to do a preliminary exam at this moment

SHIKAMARU:A Preliminary! What do you mean by that?!

SAKURA:Sensei sorry, but excuse me. I really don't see the point. Whats this preliminary all about? Why cant we just move on to the third exam?

Everyone starred at him waiting for an explination.

HAYATE:Um well you see. The two previous exams might have been too easy for you guys. We didn't expect to many of yous to pass. According to the Chunin Exams a Preliminary can be held at any stage , in order to reduce the numbers of candidates remaining

I looked around after he said that, to actually see how many of use actually made it threw. I counted Twenty-Five ninjas including myself, so that makes eight teams. Were they expecting Four or Fives teams to pass the second part? Most likely since they are holding this exam, before the third phase

HAYATE:If there is anyone who thinks that they are unable to move of, this is you time to bow out. The Preliminary will begin immediately!

I knew it they are trying to kill us. My hand rested on the back of my shoulder. I don't know if i could make it any further, with this.But Ive made it too far, i cant just give up now. I smirked, I might as well go out with a bang!

HAYATE:Oh yea i forgot to mention. The winner will be determined by a one on one combat. Sudden Death

I frowned to the math in my head. Ok that's not right

HENNA:Hey! Hate to break it to ya. But i counted Twenty-Five, there's an uneven amount of ninjas

HAYATE:Oh right. I heard that there were. Um if the numbers are still uneven after people decide to leave. There will be a battle of three fighters. Instead of one there can be two winners. If the two still want to battle it out, to be the only winner they can. So as of right now who ever want to back down, its time to raise your hand

SAKURA:Sasuke, Henna you two have to quit. You two have been like this since the fight with Orochimaru. For crying out loud Henna you almost died. Its the marks isn't it

NARUTO:Kabuto! Wait you cant quit. I dont get whats going on?
