Various heads snapped in his direction as he walked flawlessly to the location for which he had come here.
Seeing a man so tall with perfect physique, the women in the area were shocked.

He was dressed in a navy blue suit that looked perfect from every angle. A pair of shades were on his eyes so no one could see what was under that.

He pushed the glass door open, the scent of lavender coming to his nostrils as he entered the three story showroom.

"G....Good a...afternoon s...sir..." One of the saleswoman quickly approached him.
Each person present here knew who he was except few of the customers.
"Laraib ma'am is in her office." She quickly spoke further.

Wajeeh gave a small nod and walked to the direction of the office in the showroom.
He looked at the door that was shut but without bothering he pushed it open.
He saw Laraib sitting behind the desk, lost in her world with no expression on her face. She hadn't noticed his presence either.

"Laraib!" He shouted and it startled Laraib so much that she almost fell off her seat.

"What is wrong with you Bhai? I got so scared." Putting a hand on her heart to calm it down, Laraib muttered heavily.
Her eyes still had the distant look in them.

"What is wrong with me? What is wrong with you? Kya maine tumhe already itni baar nahi samjha diya hai to forget those people and think about a bright future instead?" Wajeeh gritted out making himself sit in the empty chair of Laraib's office.

(Haven't I already told you multiple times to forget about those people and think about a bright future instead.)

"Aapke liye kehna bohot aasaan hai ye Bhai. But meri tou sochiye. Mai pyaar karti thi uss aadmi se. V...Vo mere liye mera future tha. Aur kuch nahi." Laraib muttered helplessly.

(It's very easy for you to say that bhai. But think about me. I was in love with him. He was my future. No one else.)

Wajeeh groaned loudly, his hand threading through his pitch black hair and then removed his coat keeping it on another empty chair beside him.
"Laraib, khud kehti ho pyaar karti thi aur tab bhi usi ke baare me soch rahi ho?"

(Laraib, you yourself say that you were in love with him yet you're still thinking about him?)

It had been almost a week since that incident.
Laraib had locked herself in her room with her Dado, crying her heart out.
Laraib had never felt such strong bond with her Dado like she did in these past days.

Even though she won't scold her till now it was only for her benefit.
Atleast she didn't mislead her and loved her the way someone should.

Laraib felt as if Rubab Begum understood her even more better than her own Ammi after this. Because her ammi was hell bent right after to find a match for Laraib.
Walda had even almost called a family to their house for a discussion on this topic if it wasn't for Wajeeh.
He had yelled so loudly at his Ammi to not ruin Laraib's life again and Rubab Begum had also supported him in this.

"I feel like I don't have any reason to be happy anymore. Mai kya kar rahi hu zindagi me mujhe khud nahi pata." Laraib helplessly stated whatever was in her mind.

(I don't know myself what I am doing in my life.)

"You're doing so well Laraib. Professionally you're stable, you have a nice family, amazing friends. And your love life will also get better when it's the right time." Wajeeh said.
"Why don't you..."
Before Wajeeh could continue, the sound of door clicking open was heard and a female figure stepped inside the office from the attached bathroom.
Laraib was a clean freak and she had her own separate one inside her office only.
