I'm sure some of you know this feeling when you can't handle change or even get scared of it , like when you have to go to a new school with new people , or when your done with school and suddenly you need to make money by your own and then you try your best to avoid it.

Well , sometimes it Isin't good to run away from your fears without even knowing how it would really turn out.
And that's something Giyuu Tomioka has to learn.

"Giyuu, a letter arrived this morning" Giyuu heard his lover , Sabito , call from the living room.
Giyuu got out of his room where he just got dressed some seconds ago , and went over to they're living room.
He grabbed the letter from the Table and opened it,

" Dear Tomioka Giyuu , tomorrow every hashira has to meet up at the [...] Mountain and go on side missions with a partner.
The meeting will start around 9am-"

Giyuu stopped reading , he felt something weird in his throat, something that feels like it's taking away his breath or if something was choking him.
He didn't like the idea , working with people that didn't even like him ,
The sudden change of Situation.
"Hey , what's wrong?" Sabito said as he looked over Giyuu's shoulder to read the letter , "oh I see , do you want me to wake you up tomorrow?" He asked but giyuu shoke his head ,"what?no .. uh I can get up by my own I guess" Giyuu said while he tries to ignore this awful feeling from the inside.
He noticed that Sabito was doing the dishes from yesterday because they were to lazy to do it yesterday.

Giyuu had a bad feeling in his stomach, he didn't want to go there tomorrow.
But he just can't make a decision right now with these racing thoughts.

"Sabito what would you say if I..didn't go to the meet up tomorrow?..", Giyuu asked , he didn't even know why he asked his partner but he just needed someone to somehow talk about this topic so he wouldn't be overwhelmed.

Sabito stopped doing the dishes and looked over to giyuu.
"Why wouldn't you go?, I mean it's a mission after all" was all he said ,Sabito knew that giyuu had social anxiety but didn't think it would be hard for him to do a mission with people he already knows.

"Oh uh ..I'm feeling a bit sick..?" He said , avoiding eye contact.
He couldn't lie to his lover like this while looking into his eyes.
"I can give you medicine if you want and make you a soup" he offered but giyuu shoke his head and sat down on a chair in the kitchen.

There was a long silence,Giyuu started staring holes into the air, lost in his thoughts out of fear.
"Say Giyuu, is really everything alright?you seem a little off", Sabito said pulling Giyuu out of his thoughts, again.
"Uh yeah", Giyuu said but with a oh so quite voice that Sabito had troubles understanding him.
Giyuu heard a small sigh coming from Sabito as he put down a glass that he was washing , he walked over to Giyuu and sat down next to him
"Listen I know you don't like to do something with the others but it's a mission",

Giyuu didn't answer , he didn't know how. He knew he couldn't hide forever from his fears but he was so scared to face them.
"I don't want to go there.." at this point, Giyuu felt like a little kid trying to convince his mother that he shouldn't go to school today.
"But why?" Sabito asked , putting his hand on Giyuu's shoulder.

"I don't know .. I guess I'm feeling uncomfortable knowing the fact that I have to work with some people that don't even like me.. I mean I can do missions by my own but not together with others" Giyuu said as he frantically fumbled his hands and squeezed them back and forth, Sabito noticed Giyuu's hand movement and grabbed one of Giyuu's hand to gentle rub them.
"I know but you can't run away forever from your fears , at some time they catch up and you have to face them , rather you like it or not .." Sabito said , rubbing his thumb gently over Giyuu's fingers.

"You don't understand- I really don't want to go there", Giyuu's voice cracked halfway through his sentence but he tried to hold back tears.
"Yes I do understand, but what counts is that you don't have to do this alone.
..look , I will never force you to do something you don't want to but at least try it and if it really turns out as bad as you think it would , you can always stop and go back. But please at least try it"
Sabito said , a single tear escaped Giyuu's eye but he wiped it away and hugged his Lover.

"Thank you.." he mumbled against Sabito's neck and hugged him more.
"Anything for you.. and if you want I can go with you there and when the meet up starts then I leave , how does that sound?" Sabito asked, "that sounds good" Giyuu respond to his lover.

"I love you"
"I love you too"
