Chapter 1

Hi, I'm Rachel Berry.

I'm 17 years old and I'm going to William McKinley High School as a senior now.

After graduation I have big plans! I'm going to move to New York. That's my dream! Broadway, New York...I worked so hard to achieve my dreams.

But right now I have summer break so I decided to take my free time as a chance to earn myself some money for New York.

I know my dads would give me all the money I need but I don't want their money. They have already done so much for me so I want to do it myself. I'm not quite sure how but I'll find something.

I have to go now I have to meet my best friend Kurt Hummel....

I will be honest with you, I'm not very popular you know so I'm very glad to have Kurt.

He moved to Lima half a year ago because his dad married Carole Hudson. The richest women in Lima.

She has a son, Finn, who also goes to McKinley. And to be honest I have a really huge crush on him for almost two years now. But no one knows. Not even Kurt.

Finn never really gave me attention. Why would he?! He's the quarterback, one of the popular kids. I'm just a loser who is in glee club and loves to wear skirts, knee high socks and sweaters with reindeers on it. He can practically have every girl he wants.

Besides he already has a girlfriend. He is dating Quinn Fabray. Of course! The famous head cheerleader! I can see why he's dating her. I mean she's popular and pretty and has the perfect body. But I don't like her! (Obviously!) She is always so mean to people and I'm sure she just uses Finn for her popularity.

And.... Oh shit! I really talk to much! Sorry I really have to go now otherwise Kurt's going to kill me.
