Chapter 4

Rachel's POV

That day Kurt told me about this nanny job, he immediately talked to Carole and she agreed. Now two days later I'm standing here! In front of the big Hudson-Hummel house about to ring the door bell. I'm so nervous!!!! What if Finn's there?! OMG no I can't do it! 'No Rachel stop!' I told myself. 'If he's there just be cool!' After a couple of minutes I finally rang.

A very nice looking women opened the door.

"Hi I'm Carole Hudson-Hummel. You must be Rachel. Kurt told me a lot about you. Come on in."

"Hello Mrs. Hudson-Hummel it's nice to meet you."

"Oh please call me Carole, the whole Mrs. things makes me feel so old.", she laughed.

I smiled.

"Alright Carole"

"OK what about I show you the house and everything you need to know."

After she showed me the whole house and told me all the important things she said...

"Ok so you already know from Kurt that I will be gone this whole week because of a business trip. So you will be here for the day and in the evening you can go home because Kurt or my son Finn will be here!"

When I heard the word 'Finn' I had to gulp. Just the thought of Finn and me being in one and the same house made me nervous again.

"Ok may I ask you where Emily is right now?"

"Oh yeah she went to the playground with Kurt but they should be back any minute now."

A few minutes later Kurt and Emily entered the house.

"Mommy!", the little girl screamed and ran to her mother to hug her.

"Hey sweetie. How was your day with Kurt? Here is someone I want you to meet."

Emily looked up to me with big eyes.

"Emy that's Miss Rachel. She's your new Nanny. She will be here to take care of you while I'm not here ok baby?"

Emily listened to her mother and nodded.

"I'm Emily. You seem very nice.", Emily said sweetly to me.

"Oh thank you. You too! I'm Rachel. I think we will have a lot of fun together."

Emily smiled. She's such a sweet little girl.

"Alright guys I have a flight to catch!"

She hugged Emily and Kurt.

"Be good Em! If you need anything Rachel please call me, my number is on the fridge."

"OK thank you. Goodbye Carole."

"Bye stay safe!", she said and walked out the door with her big case.

"I have to go as well. I have a date with Blaine. Have fun you two.", Kurt said and left.

"Miss Rachel?! Do you like dolls?!"

"Of course I do! Every girl likes them."

"Can we play with them?"

"Sure! Come on let's go to your room."

Emily took my hand and giuded me into her room.

After we played a couple of hours and got to know each other a little bit she asked...

"Can I have cookies?!"

"Eh.., it's already 6 p.m. don't you want dinner?!"

"No I had a biiig lunch with Kurt. I want cookies!"

"Well, alright then. But what about we bake our own cookies?"

"You mean like really make them by our own?!"

"Yes!"

"Yeah!!!" Emily clapped in her hand and jumped up and down.

"Why are so so excited?!"

"I have never done this before!"

"You've never baked cookies or a cake before?!"

"No, my mom has no time for things like that and my brothers can't cook." "Well then it's about to get time."

Emily got even more excited and ran downstairs into the kitchen.

"Miss Rachel" she said after I entered the kitchen "You're so cool!", the little girl giggled.

That made me smile.

"Awwww thanks Emily. I like you too very much! You're a very pretty and amazing little girl."

Emily giggled.

"I want to make cookies now!!!!!!"

This is going to be a fun week I'm sure of it.
