Bogo:Savage? This isn't the stone age, Hopps. Animals don't "go savage".
Shark:Heh, you've clearly never been to zoo in a human city.
Judy:I thought so too... 'Till I saw this.
However, when they led the ZPD to the bridge, Manchas had vanished!
Judy:What? He was right here!
Wolf:That doesn't make any sense. You and Ringtail cuffed him! How could he have escaped?
Piranha:Maybe he was secretly a ninja?
Everyone gave him an "Are you serious?" look.
Piranha:What? It's a possibility.
Bogo:The savage jaguar?
Judy:Sir, I know what I saw. He almost killed us!
Tarantula:We were this close to become jaguar food!
Bogo:Or maybe any aggressive predator looks "savage" to you rabbits. (To the other officers) Let's go!
Judy:No. Wait! Sir, I'm not the only one who saw him. (Turns to Nick) Nick!
Bogo:(Scoffs) You think I'm gonna believe a fox? Or a group of ex-cons for that matter?
Judy:Well, he was a key witness, and I-
Bogo:Two days to find the otter, or you quit. That was the deal.
He held his hand out.
Bogo:Badge (To The Bad Guys) And you lot, out.
Judy:But sir, we had--
Bogo:BADGE!
The group looked defeated. They were so close to a lead. However, before they left and Judy gave Bogo her her badge...
Nick:Uh, no.
Everyone looked at Nick in surprise.
Bogo:What did you say, fox?
Nick:Sorry, what I said was, "No!" She will not be giving you that badge, and they will not be leaving.
Bogo grunted irritably.
Nick: Look, you gave her a... a clown vest, a three-wheeled joke-mobile, and all of them two days to solve a case you guys haven't cracked in two weeks?
Bogo looked slightly ashamed.
Nick:Yeah, it's no wonder they needed to get help from a fox. None of you guys were gonna help them, were you?
Bogo was about to speak, but Nick cut him off.
Nick:Here's the thing, chief. You gave them the 48 hours, so technically we still have...(Counts on his fingers) ten left to find our Mr. Otterton, and that is exactly what we're gonna do. So, if you'll excuse us, we have a very big lead to follow, and a case to crack. Good day.
A gondola came and Judy, Nick, Julie, and Wolf got in it.
Nick:Officer Hopps. Wolf, Raccoon.
The others got in another one. Wolf turned his earpiece on so they could all talk.
Shark:Gotta say, I'm at a loss for words.
Judy:Thank you.
Nick:Never let 'em see that they get to you.
Judy:So... things do get to you?
