The ZPD soon arrived and arrested the staff, including Lionheart.

Judy:Mayor Lionheart, you have the right to remain silent. Anything-

Lionheart interrupted.

Lionheart:You don't understand! I was trying to protect the city!

Snake:Oh, put a sock in it! You were just trying to protect your job.

Lionheart:No! Listen, we still don't know why this is happening. It could destroy Zootopia!

Julie:Even if you did have a good reason, that's still no excuse.

Judy:You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you...

Later on at the ZPD, where many reporters asked to interview Judy.

Bogo:Ladies and gentle-mammals, fourteen mammals went missing, and all fourteen have been found by our newest recruit, who will speak to you in a moment.

Judy:Ohh, I'm so nervous.

Diane:Okay. Press conference 101. You wanna look smart, answer their question with your own question and then answer that question. Like this: "Excuse me, Officer Hopps, uh, what can you tell us about the case?" "Well, was this a tough case? Yes, yes, it was." You see?

Judy: You guys should be up there with me. We did this together.

Nick:Well, are we cops? No. No, we are not.

Judy:Hm. Funny you should say that. Because, well, I've been thinking... it would be nice to have a partner. Here, in case you need something to write with

She gave Nick the carrot pen.

Bellwether:Officer Hopps! It's time.

Judy crossed her fingers and went up to the podium.

Bogo:They appear to be in good health, physically, if not emotionally. So now, I'll turn things over to the officer who cracked the case, Officer Judy Hopps.

Judy walked up to podium and started. She pointed to a beaver first

Judy:Uh, yes?

Beaver:What can you tell us about the animals going savage?

Judy:Well, the... the animals in question... Are they all different species? Yes, yes they are.

The reporters took notes and the group approved.

Female reporter:Okay, so what is the connection?

Judy:Oh, all we know is that they are all members of the predator family.

Sheep:So, predators are the only ones going savage?

Judy:That is accu-- Yes, that is accurate, yes.

Pig: Why? Why is this happening?

Unfortunately, Judy did not have answer. But she unfortunately did not pick her words carefully, and the explanation she gave was not a favorable one.

Judy:We still don't know. But it may have something to do with biology.

The group took notice of what she said in confusion.

Male reporter:What do you mean by that?

Judy:A biological component. You know, something in their DNA.

Oryx reporter:In their DNA, can you elaborate on that, please?

Judy:Yes. What I mean is, thousands of years ago, uh, predators survived through their... aggressive hunting instincts. For whatever reason, they seem to be reverting back to their primitive, savage ways.

The group couldn't believe what the were hearing from her. Nick quickly pocked a paper he was writing down.

Nick began having PTSD from the Scouts incident. Wolf and some of The Bad Guys were having flashbacks of people being afraid of them and trying to arrest them.

Snake:What is she saying?

Beaver:Officer Hopps, could it happen again?

Judy: It is possible, so we must be vigilant, and we at the ZPD are prepared and are here to protect you.

The reporters then frantically began to ask her questions

Female reporter:Will more mammals go savage?

Male reporter: What is being done to protect us?

Female reporter:Have you considered a mandatory quarantine on predators?

Bogo and Bellwether looked at each other. Bellwether took Judy away from the reporters.

Judy:Was I okay?

Bellwether:Oh, you did fine!

Judy:(Relieved) Oh, that went so fast. I didn't get a chance to mention you or say anything about how we-

Nick put his paw up to stop her.

Nick:Oh, I think you said plenty.

Judy was confused.

Judy:What do you mean?

Wolf:I just stated the facts of the case. I mean, it's not like a bunny could go savage.

Nick: Right. But a fox could, huh?

Wolf:Or a wolf?

Shark:Or a shark?

Judy:Guys, stop it! You're not like them.

The others got even more angry.

Diane:Oh, there's a them now?!

Judy:Ugh. You know what I mean. You guys are not that kind of predators.

Wolf:The kind that needs to be muzzled?!

Tarantula:Or need to put in cage?

Nick:The kind that makes you think you need to carry around fox repellent?!

Judy looked a little ashamed.

Nick:Yeah, don't think I didn't notice that little item the first time we met.

Wolf: So, l-let me ask you a question: Are you afraid of us?

Judy had slight fear in her eyes.

Wolf:Do you think we might go nuts?

Nick:Do you think we might go "savage"? Do you think I might try to.. EAT YOU?!

He lunged at her with his teeth bared and Judy was just about to grab the fox repellent. But Nick stopped.

Nick:Just when I thought somebody actually believed in me, huh?

He gave Judy his application.

Nick:Probably best if you don't have a predator as a partner.

The group began to walk past her with disappointed looks.

Julie:Have fun with your new job, hero cop.

Wolf:Hope you're happy.

Judy:No, guys! Guys!

However, the reporters blocked her

Beaver:Officer Hopps, were you just threatened by those predators?

Judy:No, they're my friends.

Rabbit:We can't even trust our own friends?!

Judy:That is not what I said. Please-

Beaver:Are we safe?

Rabbit:Have any other foxes gone savage?

Judy was taken by surprise as she lost The Bad Guys and Nick.

Judy:What have I done...

They had helped her crack this case, and how did she repay them? She stabbed them in the back...
