I'd like to start off by saying thank you guys sm for 1k reads!! It really means a lot to me that everyone's enjoying this story, and I love that I can share my love for Tokyo rev and Mikey with you guys !! I have so many plans for this book so I hope y'all stick around for that . sometimes I struggle with getting dialogue to come across well, for example, it's hard to put two pieces of dialogue directly after each other, bc it feels like they're speaking so...fast? if that makes sense? And things going really fast is a component I personally don't like in stories, so if you have any tips let me know, and I'm sorry if that annoys anyone about this story as well!! <3

Also heads up, I'm trying to add a lot of fluff and stuff in between the big story-changing scenes, (like the next fight is the Mobius vs toman fight). So this will probably be a mostly fluff chapter.

"Oh, hey Emma," Y/N smiled as she stood before the Sano's front door, "is Mikey home yet?"

"Not yet actually, he should be back soon though," Emma informed, "but hey, let's hang out for the time being, I'm feeling kinda lonely these days..."

The h/c girl giggled and grabbed the blonde girl's hand as she stepped inside.

"You know, it's only been a day since we last hung out?" N/N pointed out.

Emma crossed her arms as she pouted, "Nuh uh, we called yesterday, that was it!"

"And you hung up on me randomly...care to explain?"

The h/c girl recalled the events as she gritted her teeth.

"Heh...about that." she sheepishly smiled.

--- 10 minutes later---

"Huh, that's so random! Good thing you kicked his ass though!" Emma laughed, imagining a nonchalant N/N kicking Kiyomasa in the face.

"Also, it may be too late to mention this, but what's got you lookin' so pretty?" she added, smirking.

Y/N deadpanned as she remembered what she and Hina had gone shopping for. More specifically, who.

"W-what do you mean?" she laughed nervously, "I just got some new clothes, that's all."

The blonde girl had raised her eyebrows, giving a suspicious look.

"Hm...well anyways, you look super cute!" she smiled.

Y/N smiled back, but before she could respond, the door to Emma's room had been opened.

"Emma? Are y-" 

"...Huh? N/N?" Mikey asked confusedly. 

The girl's face immediately reddened, and Emma simply smirked mischievously, "Mikey...you're back."

"I was waiting for you, but Emma wanted to hang out for a bit," N/N explained, "wanna join us?"

Mikey looked as if he was about to agree when he started walking inside the room, but his movements were stopped by Emma's frantic words.

"Uhh actually, I need some rest, you two go hang out!!" she insisted.

Mikey looked a bit confused as he saw a weird glint in his sister's eyes, but nevertheless shrugged his shoulders.

"Since when do you take naps?; but okay," he said cautiously.

N/N eyed her blonde friend suspiciously, but stood up from her bed anyways, "Huh, okay then, cya Em!" 

The h/c girl waved goodbye as she exited the room, walking to Mikey's side. She smiled as she met eyes with her best friend, and received the same look back.
