After facing the trials and tribulations that the Machinist had put us through Christian ended up putting the weight back on and he looked like the man I knew and loved once again.

Our wedding was coming up soon and I couldn't have been more excited! I was finally going to marry the man that I love so much. We had everything picked out and finalized!

Christian and I went to go do the one last thing we had been putting off and that was picking a flavor for the cake. We found a really good bakery and scheduled a taste test to pick out what our wedding cake was going to be.

As we sat and tried cake after cake we were confident in choosing a white chocolate raspberry cake. It was so delicious! We chose the design of the cake and got it all done.

We walked back to the car and I felt nauseous. I had no clue why. We got in the car and I felt like I was going to puke

"Hey are you okay?" Christian looked at me with concern in his eyes

"Yea!" I replied but then.... I swung the car door open and threw up.

Christian got me water and helped to clean me up. Even though he has seen me at my worst I still felt embarrassed but I honestly had no clue what was going on. We got home and I laid on the couch. Christian made me some tea

"Here babe" he said as he handed it to me and then sat next to me and played with my hair

"Do you think it's a stomach bug? or too much cake?" he questioned

"I have no idea it felt like it all just came out of nowhere" I replied

"Well you don't have a fever or anything" he says feeling my forehead and my neck

I laid down for a little bit and began to feel better. I'm glad I was feeling better because we had dinner with someone Christian had worked with and his wife who were in town. I would have felt awful if we canceled or Christian went by himself.

I got ready. It was a pretty fancy dinner which is one of my least favorite things, especially when I am not feeling the best. Christian came in to help me zip up my dress.

"We don't have to go love" he said then placing a soft kiss on my neck

"I'm feeling much better! It will be a nice time" aI replied and gave him a hug

We got to the restaurant and Christian introduced me to them, they were very nice and sweet. The conversation just sort of flowed naturally, a lot of small talk here and there. As Christin was talking the wife turned to me.

"So when are you due?" she asked

"Pardon?" I replied

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know it was a secret it just seemed so obvious, you are glowing and the tons of salt on the food"

I looked at her confused finally grasping what she was saying

"Oh no no I'm not pregnant" i replied

"Oh my apologies"

That was weird and a little rude. Am I getting fat? I thought to myself. I started to think she was really on to something now I was stressed out. I can't be and I am almost sure I am not. But I definitely didn't touch my wine glass the rest of dinner.

Christian drove us home and when we got home he plopped down on the couch and I headed to the shower. Before starting the shower I pulled out a pregnancy test just to put my mind at ease. I waited for it to stop blinking and then looked and I saw a positive line

I grabbed it and slid down to the bathroom floor in absolute disbelief. No way this could be happening. I began to cry. I wasn't ready Christian wasn't ready, we weren't planning on having kids any time soon with how busy we are.

I heard Christians footsteps come towards the bathroom door

"You okay love? You've been in there for a while" he said as he lightly tapped the door

I stayed silent and didn't answer him, then he slowly opened the door. And saw me on the flood holding the test. He took a seat next to me.

And silence just filled the room
