Chapter 10: chase

Dy P.O.V.
》before twilight《

(I like jumping on trees, it is fun. You know I ought to be grateful for being a main wolf. Okay I need to find that Creature?) 

"Dy, not sure this is a good time." Emi appeared in front of me. "Not now Emi, I'm trying to listen to the forest but something doesn't feel right." Emi taps me.

"Um Dy! How about looking down from the starter." I look down- "Oh…" I notice what Emi meant.

(I am standing on nothing but air and now I'm going to fall very high-) 

I scream as I falls. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaah!" I close my eyes. "¡Huh!?" Something feels off.

(It seems I landed on something... pokey.) 

I open my eyes. "Ugh why can't I move-- Fuck! Vines!! Not again." I struggle hard but the vines are strong. "Why vines! Damn it!" I continue struggling.

I hear some rustling behind me. "Hey if your going to finish me then let just get this over it." The Creature steps out- "Huh?" My eyes open wide.

(¡¿Wait, what!?) 

"I don't enjoy killing the young ones." I see a female white Varkuis wolf, she's like me but her hair is white and long. Her eyes are yellow and it seems I can't keep my eyes off her. Her body is all curvy but she seems to be my exact size or maybe it's just because I'm laying on the vines trap and that's why she looks bigger. "W-wait!! you're the so-called creature that attacks some of the soldiers." I point at her. 

She looks at me. "So you're working with the humans." Her stares feel like judgment. "Well then dog... tell them to leave my territory." I glare at her.

(Did she just called me--) 

"Did you called me a dog!!" I burn the vines around me. "Oh boy here it comes." Emi roll it's eyes.

"I'll have you know that I am no dog, I am more wolf than just a dog. Hell, I can take you down anytime anyday." I walk up to her, she seems to be taller than me. "Hah! That's so sweet, why don't you run back with your pack then, if you're a wolf." I turn my head. 

"We got separated by the earth shakes." She looks surprised. "Wh-what..?" I look away. 

"How many are you?" I sigh. "Two sisters and a little brother." She wanted to speak more but she shook her head. 

"No, this is a trick, you want to take me back, well tell that fat ass so called alpha that I'm not coming back and I'm glad I'm out here." She ran away-

(Woah she quick, I need to catch up to her or else someone will catch her.) 

I run after her, she jumps on the trees branches, I follow and did the same but she's more flexible. I hop at her but I couldn't catch her- I fell down into a raven. I manage to use my claw on the wall, I hop out of the ravine hole, she looks surprised to see me. "I'm not just a wolf, I am also main wolf!" She ran away again. 

I follow after her. "Hahahaha! You know, I'm not sure if you're doing this purpose, but I'm having fun chasing you." I continue following her. "Stop following me!" She tries kicking me but I manage to dodge her attacks. 

(If it wasn't Cece attacking me everytime I let my guard down then she could've had the drop on me. Thank you Cece, I'll have to thank her after this mission is done.) 

We're running side to side. 

(I have to be careful, I don't want to hit her chest, Cece mention that for being a woman, getting hurt on the chest is a pain in the ass and especially if you did it on purpose, they will kill you with no hesitation and don't fell for that, for they're woman's powerful and precious weapons.)
