Chapter 01

"You sure you don't want me to drive you there?" Now that's the fourth time Eunyoo's mom asked her the same question, it honestly pisses Eunyoo off way too much.

"You're the one who's abandoning me and now you're offering to drive me there?" The moment Eunyoo let that out, her mom went speechless as she cleared her throat.

"Eunyoo ah.. I am not abandoning you. But the thing is, I am just married a week ago. I'm going to start a new family, I was gonna take you with me and let you stay here with me but your father is the one who wanted to take you after he heard about me getting married." Her mom's explanation isn't changing anything to Eunyoo.

"Whatever." She said as she continued packing her stuffs.

When she's finally done with everything, she took her luggage and her bag with her, ready to get out of the house.

"Eunyoo, before you go. Please, if you don't like it there, I'll always open the door for you to come back dear." Her mom flashed her the saddest smile possible.

"Now you're acting like a mom? Just right when I was about to leave? What about all these time, mom? You treated me as if you're forced to!" Rebuking in disgruntlement, Eunyoo's eyes went teary.

"Eunyoo-"

"That's enough, I'm going. Don't expect me to come back." And by that, Eunyoo went out of the house leaving her mom crying as she watched her daughter walking away.

Eunyoo's parents got divorced when Eunyoo turned 5. Ever since that, Eunyoo had never seen her father, even through pictures. Now that Eunyoo's 24 years old, it means that she haven't seen her father for 19 years.

Her father left and went back to where he came from, which is the small town.

For the past 19 years, Eunyoo grew up with her mom in Seoul. Though it's only her and her mother, but her mother never really cared about her all these time. She did prepared for breakfast, lunch and even dinner but she just never really show affections to Eunyoo.

That's why Eunyoo's never really fond of her mom.

"Meeting a father whom you haven't meet for 19 years and that the last time you met him was when you're just 5? How am I gonna face him? I don't even remember how he looks like." Scoffing, Eunyoo wore her headphones, listening to musics since her journey's gonna take approximately 3 hours.

The idea of living in the small town honestly annoyed Eunyoo. By the age of 12, her father once wanted to bring Eunyoo with him and live with him in the small town but her mom refused saying Eunyoo shouldn't be living in a small town with her poor dad.

Arriving at the small town, Eunyoo brought her belongings and looked around to see whether someone's gonna fetch her or not.

"Great, I don't even remember how my father looks like." Saying that all to herself, that's when she saw a middle aged man waving his hand to her.

She turned around only to see that the man is indeed waving his hand to her. He shouted something but Eunyoo who's wearing her headphones couldn't hear anything. She slowly removed her headphones to hear.

"Eunyoo!"

Eunyoo was somehow suprised to see how her father looks like, how he dressed up and how tired he looks.

"You grew taller and you've become a very beautiful woman." Is the first thing her father said upon reaching her while holding both her arms. He stared at her with tearful eyes as he couldn't believe the young lady standing before him is his daughter.

"I've always wanted to meet you. I've only seen you in pictures all these time." He continued.

"Pictures..?" She frowned.
