Eunyoo decided to go for a walk to clear her mind. What happened between her and her father just now is making Eunyoo feeling uneasy, distracted and also guilty.
"Can you make my 19 years of waiting for you worth it?" Eunyoo couldn't stop thinking about this sentence. Somehow, she felt bad for treating her father like that.
Standing right in front of the pond, Eunyoo heaved a long and heavy sigh.
"Hahahaha, bye! See you tomorrow!" Eunyoo turned her head to the right and saw both Wonwoo and Mingyu. Mingyu waved his hand before he parted ways with Wonwoo. Eunyoo turned her head back to the pond, staring at it though it's just a pond without any fish.
"What are you doing here this late?" Eunyoo was a bit startled to hear Wonwoo's voice.
"Why? You care?" She raised an eyebrow.
Wonwoo didn't say anything making Eunyoo wonder why he's just being silent. When she looked at him, he was just standing there staring at her making her feel uncomfortable.
"You should care about Jinhee. That poor girl is trying too hard, she even put a lot of efforts to cook you the best meals and oh, she'll be coming to your farm tomorrow to bring you some foods." Blurted Eunyoo out and still, he isn't saying anything.
"By the way, you have a lot of works. You work at the farm, at the paddy field, at the street market and probably more. Soonyoung said that you're a workerholic so I'll most likely see you everywhere and he's right. Don't you.. Get paid enough from all those works? You seems to work nonstop." Eunyoo questioned the things she've been curious about him.
Wonwoo raised an eyebrow.
"And, seeing how this small town looks like. I don't think living in here will cost too much compared to living in Seoul." She added.
"I want to buy a car."
Frowning because of that answer, she stared at him.
"Okay."
"I answered your question. So you should answer my question too." Eunyoo groaned because of that.
"I made my father cry. I admit that I've been treating him as if he's not my father. It's not my fault, I haven't seen him for 19 years and he can't expect me to be close with him in just a few days. It took time. And sure I am here now but he can't expect me to do the works like cleaning the barn. Who did he think I am. I graduated from a university not to find myself cleaning the barn-" Eunyoo stopped realizing that what she's saying could actually offend Wonwoo.
"You'll never understand." She gave up.
"I guess.. I'll try to adapt with the environment since this is my life now. And I should be good to my father, though it's gonna be awkward." She mumbled.
"Give him and yourself a chance. Trying something new is never a bad decision. If you don't like it after trying it, you can just stop. Your father talked about you a lot all these time. He really cherishes you and he's really happy to have you here with him." Wonwoo's statement made Eunyoo felt even much more guilty towards her father.
"Maybe you're right, dude. I should.. Give him a chance, as well as myself." She uttered, quiet softly.
-
Waking up from her sleep, gasping is the first thing Eunyoo did as her eyes enlarged.
"What time is it?! Oh my, 7?!" She threw her blanket away and rushed to the toilet to take a shower.
Skipping her breakfast after she's dressed with her black leggings and a black crop top shirt, she rushed out of the house.
"But wait, they'll probably judge me for wearing 'inappropriate' clothes like this and be like 'oh, this Seoul chick dressed like she's a whor-'." She stopped talking and walking, deciding whether or not she should change.
