After taking a shower, Eunyoo went out of her room and saw that her father is already waiting for her.

"Let's go."

The two walked to Mr. Jeon's house in a total silence.

"Is your mom doing fine?"

"Why are you asking about your ex-wife?"

"I just.. Wanted to know."

"She's a lawyer, she's rich, she's married, she's living her best life without even thinking about you. So you should too. I mean look, she didn't even send me any messages." She rolled her eyes, peeved.

"You're just like your mother, a city girl. We both are the exact opposite. I guess that's why we parted ways." Mr. Baek flashed his daughter a smile.

"I'm just like her? Please, I never behave like myself whenever I'm with her. I behaved as if we're strangers living in the same house." She rebuked making Mr. Baek went perplexed.

The silence are so awkward until Eunyoo wondered something.

"You told me that you make your living by repairing shoes.. Do you actually get a lot from that?" Out of curiosity, she questioned.

Mr. Baek softly chuckled.

"Never a lot. But thanks to my friends and neighbors, they always give me vegetables, rice, fish and even meat sometimes. People in here are really caring towards one another." Answered Mr. Baek as he stared lovingly towards his daughter.

"So you're saying you're dependent? You're only hoping them to give you foods? Until when?" She raised an eyebrow.

"It's not that I'm being dependent but that's just how people in this town lives.. They live by caring towards one another. We're all like a family here." Hearing that, it totally pissed Eunyoo off.

"You guys can't be family just because they give you foods, stuffs or whatever it is-"

"I lived alone for the past 19 years, Eunyoo. I don't have any family with me, they're the ones who were always there for me. And now that you're here, I hope you'll somehow.." Mr. Baek stopped making Eunyoo confused yet curious.

"What?"

"I hope you could adapt with the new environment, I know it's hard for you since you've been living in Seoul for your whole life. But you're here now with me, your father." Mr. Baek's eyes are teary as he hold his daughter's hands firmly.

"I was 5 the last time I saw you. I know you're my father but I'm sorry I still feel awkward around you like we only knew each other few days ago. Mom left me no choice so I have to live here with you. Besides, you're the one who wanted to take me here to live with you." Eunyoo's remark somehow offended Mr. Baek.

"I was gonna take you with me when we got divorced."

"Then why didn't you take me with you? I would be living my whole life in this small town then and I would get used to living here instead of hating it!" Yelled Eunyoo out of dissatisfaction.

"Ehem."

The two stopped and turned around only to see Wonwoo standing right beside the gate of his house.

"Ahh.. Hahaha, we're here. This is Mr. Jeon's house." Mr. Baek who have the sad face earlier now have the smiley face but it's quite obvious that he's actually feeling awkward.

'Did he heard everything? I hope not.' Thought Eunyoo.

"Come in." Said Wonwoo.

The two came in and then was greeted by Mr. Jeon. Eunyoo looked around Mr. Jeon's house, unimpressed seeing the house that looks similar to theirs.
