Chapter 7

That caught Sora's attention. "Wait, what?" He asked. "My name is Wendi Davis, and my mommy's name was Lilly Davis." Wendi explained.

"So... that could mean that you and Lilly are related!" Sora said. "Well obviously." Donald said. Wendi nodded. "Yeah..." she said, beginning to tear up.

Sora didn't notice it. "That's great! I never thought that she would one day have a kid.. how is she doing?" He asked. Wendi didn't know what to say. She knew how much Sora cared about Lilly.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy were her family, and she didn't know how they would react if she told them Lilly died. "U-Um.. w-well.. i-its hard to explain.."   she said.

Mickey knew what happened to Lilly, but since the other three just met Wendi, they didn't know about her death. "S-She's..... d-dead.." Wendi finally said, making everyone's eyes widened.

"D-Dead...?" Sora asked. Wendi teared up just thinking about Lilly and knelt down, hugging Natsu. Mickey wrapped his arms around her for comfort.

Donald and Goofy didn't know what to say. They looked at eachother, shocked. "Gawrsh, Wendi.. I'm so sorry about Lilly. But, she'll always be with you no matter what. She was a very sweet kid, and was always there for us." Goofy said.

Donald nodded. "Yeah." He said. Wendi nodded, and knew how much they cared about Lilly. Sora was silent for a moment, before walking up to Wendi and hugging her.

Wendi's eyes widened a bit, but she hugged him back. Sora looked over at Wendi. "I know it's hard for you.. it's hard for us as well. But, you're not alone. You have Mickey, the princesses, and us now!" He said.

"He's right, Wendi." Mickey said. Wendi looked down and smiled. "Yeah.. thanks for making me feel better Misters." she said. "No problem." Sora said.

"Aww.. she even called us Misters like Lilly did!" Goofy said, smiling. "Mommy did that too?" Wendi asked. Sora nodded. "Oh, yes. And for the longest time too." He said.

Wendi couldn't believe that her mother called people Mister and miss. 'So that's where I get that habit from..' she thinks.

"Are you feeling better now, Wendi?" Mickey asked, glancing over at Wendi. Wendi nodded. "Yeah." She said. Mickey smiled and was glad to see her happy. Seeing her smile made him happy.

"I'm glad that you are, little fella." Mickey said. Wendi smiled and looked up at the three. "Can you tell me more about my mommy?" She asked.

Sora smiled. "Sure! What would you like to know?" He asked, crossing his arms. Wendi thought for a moment. "Did she have any parents?" She asked.

"Well, no... she was at an orphanage in a place called Twilight Town." Sora replied. "So... she was an orphan too?" Wendi asked. "Yeah.. until we found her." Donald said.

Wendi smiled and was glad that Lilly had people to take care of her. Wendi knew she wasn't alone either. She had Natsu, and currently Mickey.

"But, we did find out what happened to her parents, and how she became an orphan. Basically her parents were the most powerful wizards in their world, and there was a dangerous threat trying to take it over. So, in order to keep Lilly safe, they gave her all of their combining magic, and sent her to Twilight Town." Sora explained to Wendi.

Wendi's eyes widened, shocked to hear about what happened. "That's so sad!" She said. "Yeah.. and the only thing she had left of her parents were these little music boxes. She played them all the time, and made sure they were safe. But when she was adopted by Makarov, she gave one of them to us, that way she would never leave our sides. She had three of them." Sora explained.

Wendi smiled and found that pretty interesting. "She also became pretty powerful, right?" Mickey asked. "Yeah. It wasn't until a long time she discovered magic though. Maybe around 7-9 months." Sora said.

"What type if magic did she have?" Wendi asked. "Water. She was able to create all types of storms,and control water, and pretty soon she was able to breathe underwater." Mickey replied, looking over at Wendi.

Wendi's eyes sparkled. 'So that's how she managed to hold her breath underwater for an hour. I can only do it for 21 minutes..' she thought to herself.

"But she wasnt that powerful until something bad hapened." Donald reminded them. "Oh, yeah. Whenever we were facing a powerful villain and we weren't doing so well, something would happen to Lilly, and she would become so unstoppable. But then after that she would go back to her normal sensitive self, forget about everything she just did, and become afraid again so we had to get out of there quickly." Sora explained.

Wendi nodded, and loved hearing what her mother was like when she was Wendi's age. She then asked if they could tell her more, and of course they all agreed.

They told her all of the adventures they went on, and how the Disney Princesses tried to adopt her so many times because of how cute she was.

"Wait, what are you talking about?" Jasmine suddenly asked, making Wendi jump a little. She turned around to see the princesses walking over to the field they were all sitting in.

"We're telling Wendi about Lilly, the little girl we had with during some of our adventures. She's Wendi's mother." Sora said, still shocked to hear that Lilly had a daughter. He wondered who Wendi's father was.

The princesses all smiled. "Oh wow, really? That's so cool! No wonder why she looked so familiar!" Ariel exclaimed. "That's amazing to hear! Though very sad that sweet little Lilly has died.." Cinderella said.

That made Sora wonder how Lilly acted whenever she was an adult. "Hey, Wendi, what was Lilly like as an adult?" He asked.

"She was really amazing! She was super fun and energetic, really brave, and we did everything together!" Wendi said. "Oh wow. So she really did change after all these years. I'm glad! It made me so sad to see the little girl cry.." Rapunzel said. The princesses nodded.

"Anyway, we missed you at the party.." Cinderella said. "Hm? I thought it would last until midnight. Wendi and I were going to go later." Mickey said.

"Well, we see dark clouds heading our way." Ariel pointed out. Mickey and Wendi looked up. It was going to rain. They frowned. "Aww man. I wanted Wendi to go to the party so bad.." Mickey said.

"Well you could always bring her tommorow. We host the party every day anyway." Cinderella said. Mickey nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that is true.."

"Oh well. We should be heading back to the castle. It's getting late, anyway." Cinderella said. Mickey and Wendi stood up as well. "Yeah." Mickey said.

Wendi turned around and waved to the other three. "Bye Misters." She said. "Bye, kid. See you around." Sora said. Wendi smiled and took Mickey's hand as they went back to the castle.

By the time they got back, it had already began to rain. It rarely ever rained in the Goodside, unless Pepa was stressed out. Mickey brought Wendi into her bedroom, and tucked her in.

The princesses provided Wendi with some pajamas that were just about Wendi's size, maybe a little bigger since they were originally from snow White.

But, Wendi didnt mind. She thought they were comfortable. "Sorry you had to go through what happened today, kid.." Mickey said as he sat down on the bed.

"Its ok.. at least everyone is alright and the scary people are back in the scary place.." Wendi said. Mickey chuckled a bit and nodded. "Yeah."

But Wendi looked down, still scared of what happened. She hoped it wouldn't happen again. "Mr Mickey? Can you stay in here tonight?" She asked.

Mickey smiled. "Of course I can."

"Thanks.. goodnight." She said before closing her eyes and falling asleep. "Goodnight, Wendi." Mickey said before turning off the light. He went over to the small chair that was near the bed, and slept there for the night.
