Chapter 11

Back at the Darkside dungeon, Wendi was curled up in the corner, scared out of her. Mind right now. She trusted Oswald, and couldn't believe that he would betray her and the Goodside.

'W-Why?? Why did Mr Oswald do this? Doesnt he like us anymore?' She thinks. The more she thought about it, the more sad she got. Oswald could hear the child's soft crying, and sighed.

He wished that this never would've happened. He wished he could've gone back in time and changed his mind about this. He wished he was brave enough to tell his brother about what happened with himself and Maleficent.

Oswald sighed and closed his eyes. He was supposed to be watching Wendi, but nobody was there to make sure anyway,  so he didn't care. He just wanted to get himself and Wendi out of there.

Without noticing, Natsu suddenly ran past Oswald. He glared at the rabbit before sneaking into the dungeon. He looked around for Wendi, before seeing her in the corner.

He gasped and was relieved she was safe. "Psst! Wendi." He whispered. Wendi looked up and her eyes widened, she gasped. "N-Natsu..?" She asked. Natsu smiled and ran to hug her.

Wendi immediately grabbed him and held him close. "I'm so glad your safe, kiddo..." Natsu said. "I-I was s-so scared... I-I thought s-something happened t-to you!" She cried.

Natsu sighed. "It's alright, kid. Im fine. You dropped me when..... HE knocked you out." Natsu said. Wendi nodded, thinking about what happened. Natsu still couldn't believe that Oswald tricked Wendi. He betrayed the Goodside. He betrayed his own brother.

Oswald could heard Wendi talking, but he didn't hear Natsu, since Natsu was a lot quieter. "Kid, who are you talking to?" He asked. Wendi jumped, now terrified of Oswald. "N-Nobody...." she said.

Oswald had the feeling she was hiding something. But, he didn't care. He would want Wendi to at least have someone to talk to. He still cared about her. It wasn't his choice to do this, anyway.

If Oswald never did this, then Maleficent would've destroyed the Goodside, with the help of the hole that is broken by the barrier. He didn't want that to happen.

He sighed. "Alright, kid.." he said. Wendi sighed. "That idiot. I can't believe he would do that. He should've never done it. Why would he do it anyway??" Natsu asked.

"I-I dont know w-why Oswald is so mean.. I-I thought he l-liked me.. " Wendi said. Natsu shook his head. "Well, its clear he doesn't like you." He said.

Oswald heard that, and his ears perked up. He opened the cage, making wendi scream. "Shh! Its okay, kid. It's just me." Oswald said. Wendi calmed down a little, but she was still scared. Natsu couldn't hide it anymore. He had to reveal himself.

"How could you do such a thing to a child???" He asked. Oswald screamed and picked up a nearby hammer, which was wooden and Giant, and smashed Natsu. "DIE YOU DEMON!" He yelled. Natsu was squished, like a cartoon character would be. Except Natsu was also part anime, so he had swirls in his eyes too.

"Not.... a demon...." Natsu barely managed to say before passing out for a moment. Wendi yelped. "Natsu!" She cried. "You knew he was alive??" Oswald asked. "Uh..... m-maybe...." Wendi said.

"Your brother knew me as well! I was thinking in revealing myself as a friend, but then you had to knock Wendi out, and bring her here." Natsu said, crossing his arms and glaring at the rabbit. "It's still alive!!" Oswald yelled, holding up the hammer.

"IM A TOY YOU DIMWIT! IVE BEEN ALIVE FOR THREE YEARS!" He yelled, waving his little arms up and down, while smoke came out of his ears.

"You have?" Oswald asked. "Yes. And I've been looking after this kid since she's an orphan. Thats why i never leave her side. And why im so angry at you for hurting her. In practically an angry dad, here." Natsu said.
