Everyone was huddled in their own little groups, sat happily on the couches unaware of the nightmare that was about to start.
James and Lily were slightly closer than usual, Remus and Sirius properly cuddled up right next to the two of them, smiles and secret blushes on both of their faces known to everyone except them, they were just too obvious.
As everyone's voices settled as the movie projection started, with the help of Lily and Hermione
It is night time in Surrey, we see an owl on the street sign "PRIVET DRIVE" and the camera pans to the street with very identical looking brown bricked houses. The owl flies away and an elderly man with crimson robes and a long silvery white beard named Albus Dumbledore walks out of a forest near the street, past a tabby cat standing next to what looks like a shed.
"Minnie?" James whispered over his shoulder to Sirius as they cheered for their professor.
He takes out his deluminator and activates it. Dumbledore zaps all the light out of the lampposts. He puts away the device and a cat meows.
"Um, GIMME!!" Giedion and Fabian shouted in sync then turning towards each other. "No ME!" They screamed into each others faces. "Me."
"Me."
"Me."
"Me."
"Me."
"Um people people, no arguing please boys, it's mine," Ron said cockily waving around the small delimitator he produced from his pocket switching off all the lights, including the projector for a second as everyone watched amazed at the small white lights that floated towards him.
"RONALD." Both Hermione and Molly shouted at the same time, Hermione managing to reach over and slap the back of her head whereas Molly just glared at him from across the room as he was forced to puts the lights back.
Dumbledore looks down at the cat., smirking slightly, he whispers "I should have known that you would be here...Professor McGonagall."
"MINNIE!" The marauders and next generation shouted together with smiles on their faces.
The cat silently looks at him, and the camera turns towards a wall. The cat's shadow turns into a woman with a tall hat. There are footsteps and Minerva McGonagall is revealed. She clears her throat, "Good evening, Professor Dumbledore. Are the rumours true, Albus?"
"What rumours?" Euphemia asked cautiously, her fingers tracing through Flemont's famously messy Potter hair.
"Um, you'll see," Aurora said in the same tone scratching her own wild hair.
"I'm afraid so, Professor. The good, and the bad." The woman sighed shaking her head, shaking away her tears, before slowly clearing her throat, "And the children?" She croaked out, the man merely nodded into the distance.
"Hagrid is bringing them."
Sighing McGonagall turned back to him, "Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?"
"Ah, Professor, I would trust Hagrid with my life.""Just not my secrets," Daphne piped in with a smile before looking towards the blushing Hagrid who was looking around nervously.
There is a motor sound, and the two professors look up to see a flying motorcycle coming down from the air. It skids on the street and halts. A large man with shoulder length black hair and beard named Rubeus Hagrid takes off his goggles.
"I WANT, I WANT, I WANT," Sirius repeated bouncing in his seat as Remus tried desperately to calm him down.
"Down boyy," James called out from next to them patting Sirius on his head as though he was a dog. "If only they knew," James whispered into Remus's ear as they finally got Sirius back on the couch.
"Professor Dumbledore, Sir. Professor McGonagall." Hagrid nods to each of them respectively, rocking the bundle in his arms back and forth.
"No problems, I trust, Hagrid?" Dumbledore asked.
"No, sir. Little tykes fell asleep just as we were flying over Bristol. Heh. Try not to wake 'em. There you go." Carefully, Hagrid hands two little babys wrapped in a bundle over to Dumbledore, clearly sad to be parting with them.Feeling it to be her last chance, McGonagall pipes up in protest, one final time "Albus, do you really think it's safe, leaving him with these people? I've watched them all day. They're the worst sort of Muggles imaginable. They really are... the others could take them in they could even stay in spare rooms at the school. There's even Rem-"
The man's head shakes, white hair spinning arouns, "He is not family. These muggles are only real family they have."
"What about us?" Lily asked softly, clutching James tightly not even realizing the bright red that covered his face, looking over to the twins as they both stuttered over they're words, "You'll know soon," Abigail said softly her fingers reaching out to Harry's grasping them tightly between her own, desperate to hide what her mind was telling.
Her feet pattering along as she followed him, McGonagall continued, despatrate to change something"And the girl? Where are we taking her, what's going to happen, I can't leave her with these people to they're not even her family."
"We will be taking her town over there's an orphanage with a spot available for our kind," Dumbledore informed her, the crestfallen look on her face only falling further as her gaze shifted to her feet, knowing there was nothing she could do.
No one seemed to question the words except those from the future having discovered the mask Dumbledore hid himself under.
"She will be left to her own devices until the day her letter arrives just like any other child, she's not special nor are the rest of us we must leave her be to... grow." McGonagall only shook her head softly, rapid heartrate jidden beneath her stern exterior, she couldn't change this, but she could change their lives at Hogwarts.
His questioning tone drew a red flag right through Abby's chest bringing her right back to another moment where that questioning tone hit her in the face, her heart was beating miles to fast and the only thing that managed to stop her outburst was Harry's hands in her brown wavy hair. Deep breaths....
The unusual group finally come to a stop outside a house which is shown as 4 Privet Drive. In a moment of panic McGonagall takes her last chance "Are you sure Albus? I mean it may be better they growing up with it around them even the girl. These two kids will be famous. There won't be a child in our world who doesn't know their names."
"What happened? Why are they so famous?" People questioned turning toward the future generation who shrank away from the prying eyes and just gestured for everyone to watch the movies.
Smiling softly, only to himself, Dumbledore whispered, "Exactly. They're better off growing up away from all that. Until they're is ready." Dumbledore places the two children on the ground slowly. Hagrid sniffles, he is sobbing a little. He clears his throat. "There, there, Hagrid. It's not really goodbye, after all."
Hagrid nods. Dumbledore takes a letter from his cloak pocket and places it gently on the babies, who are now placed on the foot of the door, small blankets coddled up together on the doorstep, pinkies interlocked. "Good luck...Harry and Aurora Potter."
The two babies both had a lightning-bolt shaped scars; one glowing on the baby-boy's forehead and the others on the baby-girl's neck.
"Cursed scars..." Regulus muttered scratching the back of his head as he looked over to Sirius in curiosity.
The camera slowly zooms towards the scars which glow brightly and it immediately flashes, transitioning to a stormy cloud sky. The film's title in metallic gold zooms out around the camera, and lightning flashes to brighten it up.
Harry & Aurora Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Then, the lightning flashes engulf the screen, transitioning it to the present time the scars dimmed and brownish.
