King's Cross Station. Up on a crossing bridge, Harry, with his cart of his baggage, equipment and Hedwig; who he'd let Abigail name after she'd read a Germanic mythology novel and hadn't let go of the name. Abigail had also bought her own owl Maeve as well as her single bag and Aurora with her bags and Nixie walking beside Hagrid. A couple look at Hagrid, suspiciously.
Hagrid looks down to his watch before turning to the group,"Blimey, is that the time? Sorry, kiddos, I'm gonna have to leave you. Dumbledore'll be wanting his- well, he'll be wanting to see me." Abigail narrowed her eyes at the man's pocket as he patted it with a grin, "Now, uh, your train leaves in 10 minutes. Here're your tickets." He hands each of the kids at train ticket, "Stick to it, kids that's very important. Stick to your ticket."
Abigail looks at her ticket eyebrows screwed together Harry then doing the same, he opens his mouth like a fish, blubbing confused, "Platform 9¾? But, Hagrid, there must be a mistake. This says Platform 9¾. There's no such thing...is there?" Harry looks up, but we now see that Hagrid has vanished and the three kids all alone with their carts.
"Oh god Hagrid we need to teach you how to look after a child I mean really I know you had other things but they have no clue where they're going," Lily muttered with a small smile as she talked to the half-giant James's eyes glued to her like a moth to a flame, Aurora and Harry just looked at each other nodding with a smile.
The three are walking down lane between trains, still staring down confused at the ticket. Harry sees a guard and Abigail's eyes meet his. "Don't do it Harry that's incredibly stupid," she scowled. He kept walking forwards, "Don't!" She called out.
"Excuse me, excuse me." The boy called out to the guard. "Excuse me, sir. Can you tell me where I might find Platform 9¾?"The gurad scowled down at him, incredulous, "9¾? Think you're being funny, do ya?" Harry only continues to stare at him hopelessly, the guard walks off muttering about 'troubled children.'
"And he did of course the silly boy won't listen to me, never ever listen will he, never ever ever ever," Abigail voiced to Aurora, not noticing the girls wide smile.
"Gosh I love their relationship," Pandora sighed her butterfly clips looping down pushing a blonde strand of hair in front of her face. Sirius and Regulus scowled yet again both unable to tell why they were so intent on protecting the girl but James just smirked, that was his kid.
Harry sighed, "I will listen to you eventually, can we keep please moving though you heard Hagrid train's in less that 10 minutes." Abigail was still facing Aurora, both of them conversiong behind the boys back, "Oh how I would hate to be at an airport with your brother."
Aurora smirked at the girl knowingly form the corner of her eye, watching her and her brothers future build quickly before them, "God I mean I would never even want to try, that boy and being places and all over the place and nope never not even going to try."
At that moment a group of people passed just behind them and Aurora caught afew words of what they were saying."- same year after year packed with Muggles, of course -"Aurora swung round.
The speaker was a plump woman who was talking to fourboys, all with flaming red hair. Each of them was pushing a trunk liketheir in front of them and they had an owl.Heart hammering, Aurora pushed her cart after them, Abiagail and Harry close behind. They stopped and sodid they, just near enough to hear what they were saying."Now, what's the platform number?" said the boys' mother."Nine and three-quarters!" piped a small girl, also red-headed, who washolding her hand.
What looked like the oldest boy marched toward platforms nine and ten. they watched, careful not to blink in case they missed it - but just asthe boy reached the dividing barrier between the two platforms, a largecrowd of tourists came swarming in front of him and by the time the lastbackpack had cleared away, the boy had vanished.
