I tucked my pockets into my coat, shivering against the slight breeze. My boots crunch over a carpet of leaves, acorns and plants baked brown by the autumn sun as I approach the gate, where Tsukasa stands, pacing back and forth. "So, you finally agreed to visit!" I stumble backwards as a peach blur rushes towards me, seizing me in a hug. "Tsukasa!" I smile, as he steps back, a tiny blush seeping across his cheeks. "So, this is your 'amazing Halloween spot?'" I laugh, poking him. "It may look just like a field, but I have a surprise." He grins, gesturing wildly to the grey-tinged field behind him. "Follow me!" I gasp in surprise as his hand lowers over my eyes, the other laying on my shoulder. "Tsukasa! I can't see!" "That's the point!" He laughs, his voice right beside my ear. "It wouldn't be a surprise if you could see, would it?" "Ok..." Somehow, even stumbling through fields, It's impossible to feel unsafe with Tsukasa's hand on my shoulder. "Alright, here we are!" Tsukasa attempts a grand reveal, leaping backwards with a smile, but slips on a perfectly-placed leaf and almost tumbles to the ground. I'm laughing so hard it takes a second for me to process where exactly we are. "Tsukasa- are these pumpkins?" He leaps to his feet instantly. "Yep! And I'm going to find the perfect pumpkin for you, y/n!" He smiles, bowing to an imaginary audience. "Wait, I'll help you!" I laugh, skipping forwards. We search the field, and eventually I find it, nestled behind a huge, neon-orange one- the perfect pumpkin for Tsukasa. "Tsukasa, look at this one!" "Y/n... it's deformed! It looks like..." I wait patiently for him to realise. "It's a star!" I smile, placing it in his hands. "Oh yes!" He grins back, waving it in the air. "A star! I see!" "Don't drop it!"

We go back to Tsukasa's house, placing the pumpkins in the porch to carve later. We're both shivering wildly, me especially since I left my scarf at home. We enter Tsukasa's room, turning on his TV and putting on a random Halloween film. I sit beside him on the bed, shivering slightly. Suddenly, I feel a piece of fabric wrap around my shoulders, and turn to find a concerned Tsukasa placing a blanket onto my back. "Y/n, you're freezing!" He exclaims. "I'll be fine..." I lie, but Tsukasa shakes his head stubbornly. "You can sit closer to me for warmth!" He suggests, blushing slightly. "Ok!" I cuddle closer to Tsukasa's warm body, laying my head onto his stomach. His arm fits perfectly around my shoulder, and I soon find myself much warmer, and completely relaxed.
