"And the last box of decorations is... here!" Honami sighed with relief as she dropped the last box onto her kitchen floor, the heavy box making a clatter. She wiped a few speckles of dust from the loft out of her glossy hair, missing a dust bunny that her girlfriend, Saki, quickly plucked out for her. "Almost missed one!" She giggled, kissing Honami on the cheek quickly before dashing off to search though the Halloween decorations. "Wow! You have so many decorations!" Saki exclaimed, whipping out a huge, hand-crafted spider Honami had made a few years ago out of bin liner. "We made most of them. There's still some from when we were really little." Honami grinned, crouching beside her girlfriend. "Oh yeah! Found one!" Saki pulled out a huge paper cobweb dusted in glitter, four tiny names still visible in one corner. "I remember making this! We were at that school trip, where Ichika fell in the lake! It was so fun!" They two girls laughed wistfully, nostalgia flooding their minds. "Ok, let's start then." Honami smiled, pulling out some black and orange bunting and handing Saki one side. They strung the crazy-coloured triangles all over the house, mainly in the living room, where the four girls would be 'sleeping' tonight (although my they'd probably stay up all night talking again). Soon, the room was dripping with orange glitter, and stepping into it was like tumbling into a Witch's home. It even smelt like autumn- Shizuku had leant them some of her many candles, this one scented like a pumpkin. "Done!" Saki yawned, flopping onto the sofa. "Saki! They haven't even got here yet!" Honami pretended to pull her up, but eventually flopped beside her, running her fingers through Saki's waterfalls of soft, blonde hair. "I love Halloween." Saki murmured, shuffling to lay her head in Honami's lap. Honami's eyes suddenly lit up. "I just realised- it's our first one together, isn't it?" "We've been friends for- oh! As a couple? Oh yeah!" Honami laughed at Saki's forgetfulness, kissing her forehead gently. "I'll make sure it's the best one you've ever had." Honami promised. The girls suddenly both shot up as the doorbell sounded. "Oh, Ichika and Shiho are here!" Saki leapt up, rushing to the door, and Honami sighed as she followed her, as happy as she could remember being.
