POV: Hazel

I woke up and heard everyone talking in the kitchen so I got up and walked down stairs to them.

Keira: morning sleepy head
Hazel: morning guys

Lucy didn't say anything to me. She just walked over and hugged me.

Lucy: happy birthday kid (whispers)
Hazel: thank you

Leah jumped down off the counter with a suspicious face. I walked over to her and hugged her very tight.

Leah: hello haze you okay darling
Hazel: yeah I just wanted to give you a hug because I feel like everyone need one
Leah: thank you
Keira: what about me

I walked over to Keira and hugged her too.

Lucy: i made breakfast
Hazel: what you make
Lucy: pancakes with bacon bits

My face lit up
Hazel: thank you
Lucy: it was Leah's suggestion

My heart felt warm and I smiled.

H: thank you lee.

I walked over to her and kissed her cheek. I pretended not to see but Leah turned around and fist bumped lucy. I internally laugh at her being silly.

I walk outside and sit in a sun chair

POV: leah

I turn around to lucy and Keira when Hazel leaves the room.

Leah: okay so I've such a good plan for later
Keira: okay spill
Leah: okay so I want to bring Hazel to dinner and then I've had g and a few people fly over here to surprise her for her birthday

Lucy spits out all of her water from her mouth

Lucy: you what
Leah: you alright lucy?
Lucy: you know it's her birthday ?
Leah: um yeah I'm in love with her why wouldn't I-
Keira and lucy face dropped
Leah: I didn't say that
Lucy: so much is happening right now
Keira: awwhhh
Lucy: okay so I think that instead of having everyone meet her at a restaurant have them come here. She like more quiet things like that instead of big party's.
Leah: yeah but I still want to bring her for dinner so I can give her my present
Keira: that's a good idea
Lucy : how'd you know about her birthday
Keira: Luce everyone loves that child like she's a sister to them. We figured it out. And you were drunk at the euros party and we're saying how proud you were of her and said when it was
Lucy: of course I did. Anyways Leah go tell her about dinner and we will set everything up here for later
Leah: okay thank you

I walked outside to see Hazel quietly shedding a few tears

Leah: hey what's wrong love?
Hazel: nothing I'm just happy to be here
Leah: well I was that today me and you could have an us day today since we're doing nothing
Hazel: I'd love to ms Williamson
Leah: good go get ready. It's a full day thing so dress appropriately.
Hazel: I will ba- bastard
Leah: what?
Hazel: nothing
Leah: did you just call me a bastard?
Hazel: no
Leah: just go get ready
Hazel: okay
