After having that strange dream, I decided it would be wise to keep it a secret, even from Kenny. Kenny had left my room when I woke up, leaving me alone in the center of my bed with my thoughts.

The door was then flung open, and I shrieked. I quickly glanced towards the door and saw Kenny standing there, gazing down and never looking up at me.

"It's time to get up." With that, he quickly left.

I took a shower after gathering a few pieces of clothing.

I put on an I'll follow you til you love me-themed light grey pullover sweater, dark blue pants, and combat boots.

All the Omegas, Luna and plus her son Loki, were present when I walked upstairs to the kitchen. With a worn-out smile, I greeted Loki and Luna.

Loki grinned and gave me a high-five before his expression fell.

" Hey, where's Kenny?" Loki asked looking down at his empty plate with a sorrowful face.

"Not sure I was just about to ask, But don't worry, he's probably outside or something," I reassured him, hoping to make him feel better.

"I was saving a seat for him, but since he's not here, want to sit with me?" He exclaims with excitement. When I turn to look at Luna for confirmation, she claps her hands and laughs.

"Why not?" she responded.

I approached Loki and sat down next to him. After breakfast was finished cooking, the Omegas had already left as the rest of the wolves arrived. I hummed with delight as I inhaled the fresh air.

Mrs. Pepper approached me and kissed me on the cheek before leaving. My parents shot me an icy scowl as I glanced their way. My mother turns her head away, her eyebrows almost meeting, and she sighs a bit. My father puts his hand on my mother's shoulder as she appears upset. What's up with her?

Mrs. Frank approached me from behind. Her eyes were filled with worry. "Do you know where Lucie is?" She whispered to me.

Mrs. Frank treated Lucie as if she were her own. She said how much her first child reminded her of Lucie. We don't know a lot about her or her past, and when we try to find out, Mrs. Green, her sister, says it's none of our business. Lyanna was the name of the daughter who, according to Mrs. Frank, ran away from home at sixteen.

Although Mrs. Frank never explained why her daughter fled, she claimed that the world was a better place for her than her own house. Even the Alpha doesn't know their past. The Grand Elders just told him to take two women in and that was it.

Mrs. Frank presses her fingers to her lips before biting her fingernails.

"I'm off to look for her." She walked out of the house after that. Loki gave me a worried expression.

" Do we need to go look for her?" He offers. I looked down at him and patted his head to reassure him that he had nothing to be anxious about.

I remarked, "Lucie always does this; there's no need to hunt for her.

"But look at you! Attempting to send a search team to find her. You definitely have Alpha blood," I say. Loki casts a downward glance at his nearly full plate.

Luna turns her head away from me as I glance at her. When her husband entered the room, she immediately covered up the annoyed expression on her face.

"What is he doing sitting there?" Connor questions.
