|BLADE|Grey whispered to Kate, "Got something to say, pig face?" Kate moved toward him. She then stepped forward and scowled at Grey while standing on her toes.
"Yeah, don't slam into me, you ass monkey," Kate yelled remarkably loudly, leading Luna to stand up and walk in between both of them.
"Please, you two, I'm sick of hearing you fight. We treat everyone here in our pack with kindness," Luna says.
"Grey, you're becoming Beta, which means you hold the key ranking in the wolf pack." Luna placed her hands on Grey's shoulders and smiled at him.
"As the Alpha's secretary, it is your responsibility to help welcome new members of the pack. You won't succeed by acting in this manner." Grey bows his head and scans the floor as Luna sets her hands on her hips. Greg hazel eyes then raise, and he growls behind Luna. A tiny sigh erupts from Luna's lips as she turns around. Luna approached Kate after seeing her flip him the middle finger. Kate quickly drops her hand.
Luna stands Infront of her and crosses her arms.
" Wait, Grace-what did I just do?" Kate said. People around the table gasped. Everyone at the table flinches as Alpha slams his hand on the table.
"You'll refer to her as Luna." He said. Then Luna extended her hand to calm him.
"It's fine, baby," Luna assured him.
Luna approaches Kate, taking her hand in her own and squeezing them. "Kate, you're determined, loving to those you care about, and fearless," Luna said. Kate smiled at her.
"However, you're threatening, irritable, and overconfident. Try to see things from your brother's perspective. Okay, Kate." Kate was only able to nod in response to Luna's smile.
Luna doesn't fully grasp any situation. Luna desperately wants to think that this pack is flawless. She must, or it might drive her insane.
I looked across at my twin sister as everyone was seated at the table. Her head was high to show off her hickey to the other female pack members. She often toss her black hair to the side to show off. The girls began to stare at her and were joyful for some odd reason.
When Rose notices that everyone is staring at Kate and Grey, her brown face turns red. Attention is what she seeks and when it's not on her she'll throw a fit.
Rose huffs after that and turns to face our father. "Daddy, I passed my math test with a B,"
"Oh, that's terrific, honey," My father exclaims as my mother claps in unison with the rest of the table.
"Well, I guess I have to be smart if I'm becoming Luna," Rose says, throwing her arms around Connor and resting her head against his shoulder, causing the Alpha to smile.
"You'll make a wonderful Luna." He said. Grey and I were ordered to sit down by Luna, who placed her knuckles on her hips.
I glance over Luna. "Luna, we have to go-" she interrupted me.
"Oh, nonsense, go find a chair and sit," Luna replied as she seated alongside her lover. After exchanging glances, we all sat at the opposite end of the table.
While cutting into her pancakes with a knife and fork, Luna asks, "Now, Rose, how do you know you're Connors' mate?" Rose mockingly rolls her dark chocolate eyes at Luna and tosses her black hair over her shoulder.
She held her nose even higher in the air, saying, "Oh, please, Grace, can I call you Grace? I know I'm his mate because I can sense it."
When I turned to face my mother, I saw a huge smile on her face. Her weak, drooping sea-color eyes seem sad, her dark brown hair is soft but unkempt, and her complexion has an almost sickly, pasty appearance. Father also has a very frail appearance; his dark brown eyes are downcast, his black hair is untidily styled, and his deep brown skin appears pale.
