When Kenny and I arrived at school, we noticed Kate laughing. She came to us and said that the chemistry homework was due on Friday rather than Monday.

Kate squeezed between Kenny and me as we walked down the hallway. She held our hands and smiles.  Kate was always a lovely dovey person, those she hold dear that is. Her love language was touch after all.

"Are you planning to start doing your homework?" I ask with an arched eyebrow.

Kenny laughed as Kate said, "Fuck no." I groaned loudly.

I glance at her and ask, "What exactly am I meant to do with you?". She grins at me while lifting her chin.

"Marry me," I rolled my eyes as she said it with a wink.

" I mean we can all get married." Kenny says with a smirk and Kate nods fast while pouting at him.

I rolled my eyes. " No we can't." I said.

" Yeah we can." Kenny then began to whispers. " In the wolf community if your mated to more than one person you all can get married."

I then whispered. " But that's only for mated mates."

Kate whispered back. " Ever heard of a thing called lying?"

Because humans are unaware of us, we don't discuss pack issues at school. Think about what you would do if one of your friends approached you and revealed that they were werewolves. You might have them committed.

Even while some humans are aware of our presence, only the Alpha may inform them—unless your mate is a human. You must, however, receive approval before telling your human mate about the magical realm.

If you disobey this rule. I'm not sure what would happen, although some magical beings say they would execute you and the human you told. Every creature is unique so each creatures has their own rules.

I then whispered. " I'm pretty sure they change the laws."

" Enough about that, what are you guys doing for the party?" Kate asks suddenly.

I turn to face her, assuming she's making a joke, but she simply gives me a blank stare. Oh, she thought she was getting out of this party without helping?

"Uh, what do you mean we're working on it together?" I replied. Kate made a noise. She released our hands and stopped moving. As Kate stomped her right foot on the ground, Kenny and I came to a halt. I give her a stern look while Kenny grins.

"I don't even belong in that pack, and I'm not helping you guys with this party either." She states placing her hands on her hips and cocking them to the side.

I held up one finger and said, "First off, you live in the pack house."

Then, I put my two fingers up and added, "You're always helping us cook food.

"Barley," Kenny said quietly.

"Finally, you consume the food," I said, raising three fingers.

"I don't even belong in that pack," she said.

"I heard you the first time, puppy mill," Kenny remarked. Kenny then put his hand to her mouth to keep her from speaking, and she licked his palm. With an angry expression, Kenny yanked his hand away from her.

"That's what you get for calling me that," Kate says flipping him off.

"Your brother, on the other hand, is a member of the pack. So. Oh! Would you take a look at that, that automatically includes you, ain't that a bitch?" Kenny asks while placing his hand on his chin.
