CHAPTER 9: UNDERGROUND

JENNIE POV

"We're here~" Mrs. Song gets out of the car. The doctors were beside me as they placed the incubator where Liam is in beside me and they were operating the machine manual due to transportation "Come here Jen" Mrs. Song and one of my guards helps me get out, placing me on a wheelchair 

"This is the bunker?" I frown and look at the small, old, wooden cottage infront of me which was surrounded by dead plants and trees. I swear! I won't let Lisa and my son stay in this old, unsanitized place~

"Don't judge the book by its cover Jennie~" Mrs. Song smirks and guides me inside together with the guards and my doctor who was bringing Liam while Roseanne is handling the things outside 

"Good old days"

"You mean you've been here?" I frown and follow her to this old bedroom

"I've been connected with the Manobans since I was a kid. I don't know about the secret bunker but Su ryeon told me where it's hidden" Mrs. Song looks around and examines every lamp in the room until she stops infront of a lamp beside a gigantic painting of a young man and a woman which I suspect to be Chairman A and his wife. We all waited for Mrs. Song patiently until she twists the head of the lampshade that cause the painting to move down. It was a dark hallway behind the painting with a few lamps on its sides. It was creepy and smelly though. I don't mind it for now since it's old~

"Kajja~" We all entered the the hallway 

"Mind the sides" Mrs. Song speaks after a few minutes upon entering then points her flashlight and there I saw alligators swimming a few meters below us "How long will it t-take Mrs. Song?"

"I don't know Jennie, we just have to follow this~"

"A-arasso~" We continued our journey on the bridge of alligators where I can throw Lisa when she is with a woman and finally stopped infront of a metal door "Wh-why did w-we stop?"

"We need the key" She mumbles and turns to look at me "What do you mean? And why are you looking at me?"

"Lisa's key~" Mrs. Song holds my hand and looks at the ring where she smiles widely "She's really inlove with you.~"

"What? I don't get it" I frown but Mrs. Song grabs the ring Lisa gave out of my finger. I was about to grab and get angry for getting it out of my hand when she presses the diamond that made a small key popped out "Every Manoban has a key and Lisa gave one to you"

"How did you know all this?" I frown then squint my eyes. She must be hiding something~

"Calm down Jennie, Roseanne's mom told me a while ago" Mrs. Song giggles then pats my shoulder and pushes the metal door after inserting the small key. A wide bright white hallway appears infront of us, the walls of the hallway contains the pictures of the Manobans and the family tree at the very end of the hallway

"Here~" Mrs. Song gave back the ring to me and walks ahead. We all followed her till the end of the hallway. The Manoban's Family where I can see Lisa and Roseanne's names carved too. "I guess the rooms going that way" Mrs. Song points at the right side where I saw a bunch of doors "Lisa's room is the last one" Mrs. Song smiles and the guard pushes the wheelchair for me

Arriving inside the room which was pretty big for Lisa alone, I look at the doctor and guards who helped bringing Lisa and Liam inside the shared bedroom. I let them fix Lisa on the new bed and I thank them before letting them go

"Stay here and rest Jen. I'll take care of everything else" Roseanne was looking at Liam who's inside the incubator then gives me a small smile before leaving. I turn to Lisa who was sleeping soundly on her new bed with the same monitor set up on her sides
