Sakusa woke to a headache beginning to pound at his skull. Groaning, he sat up slowly, holding his head. Sometimes his headaches were horrible, where he couldn't even get out of bed. Thankfully, this one wasn't as bad.

Flailing around blindly, he managed to find his lamp and click it on. Blinking, Sakusa's small dorm room came into focus. Bed in the corner, desk beside it. There was a small window above his desk that showed a busy street. His closet and dresser were neat and tidy, not a spec of dust anywhere.

Unscrewing his water bottle lid, Sakusa made a face at the warm water. The AC hadn't been working in his shared dorm with Iwaizumi.

Iwaizumi was a good roommate. He gave Sakusa the space he needed, but was also friendly enough and was willing to just hang out in silence. He was respectful and never said anything when Sakusa decided to spontaneously deep-clean the entire dorm.

So far, college hadn't been horrible. Sakusa liked most of his teachers, and they were all fairly young so they seemed to relate to the students.

Sakusa's favorite subject though was astronomy.

He loved it. The stars. The endlessness of the Galaxy. It truly never ended. And there were so many possibilities.

It scared him a bit.

But also very much intrigued him.

Checking his phone, he sighed at the time.
It was 4:28 in the morning. Thankfully it was Saturday morning, but it was still irritating that Sakusa couldn't fall asleep.

Standing up and stretching out stiff muscles, Sakusa entered the main room of their dorm, quietly opening a cupboard and shaking a few ibuprofens into his palm, holding them in his mouth as he filled a cup with water.

Then he went and sat on the couch, checking his phone. One new message from Komori about visiting next weekend.

Then Sakusa cocked his head at a faint booming sound from down the hallway.

It was music.

Someone was blasting music at 4:30 in the morning. Well, it was a weekend so some people would be having parties.

Unfortunately, this one seemed to be way too close.

With each pounding of the beat, Sakusa's headache intensified.

He tried opening a window, a cool breeze bringing in fresh air. That didn't help.
Irritation building along with discomfort, Sakusa finally stood up, storming to the door and unlocking it.

It only took a second to pinpoint what dorm was blasting Taylor Swift, and it was the Miya's.

Of course, Sakusa thought, scoffing. He hadn't grabbed a mask, but no one else was up or out so he was fairly safe.

Sakusa didn't have anything against the Miya twins. He'd met them before, and his first impression was that their hate/love relationship was on a whole other level.

Osamu, the grey-haired twin had seemed calmer, almost tired, to counter Atsumu, the blond-haired one. Atsumu had bounced into Sakusa's calculus class with more energy than that short, orange-haired kid Sakusa had noticed the other day.

Osamu smacked Atsumu as he nearly ran face-first into the teacher, and then they sat down on Sakusa's row.

Sakusa's other first impression was that both of them were gay. At least, attracted to men. He was pretty sure Osamu had a boyfriend anyways, but Atsumu certainly acted quite gay.
