Jennie hit the second month of pregnancy. Her belly wasn't showing up yet, but she could notice a few changes here and there on her body
Taehyung could spot the changes from afar, though. Starting with Jennie's breasts that were slightly bigger now. Not that he was staring. Totally not staring. Also, for past one week, Taehyung learn how to cook healthy food
Although Jennie insisted she could cook and prepare their lunch boxes daily, like she always did, but Taehyung wouldn't let her. One of the drastic changes for Jennie was to stop drinking coffee
The doctor suggested that she shouldn't drink much, so it wouldn't affect the baby's development, but Jennie was a bit of caffeine addict
In order to try helping his wife, Taehyung always would put a tea bottle along with Jennie's lunch box. The woman was touched at Taehyung's sweet actions. And every single day he managed to surprise her even more
By the end of the day, they always would record videos talking to their baby. They would keep those videos to watch later on, when the baby will be finally out
Even though Jennie's baby bump wasn't showing, Taehyung would always caress and kiss it before sleeping. Other small change that didn't go unnoticed by everyone around was how Jennie was slowly becoming clingier to Taehyung. They were ranked as the gross yet-cute-clingy-couple from the very start, but Jennie had always been the one that would try to balance it
But now, she would be talking about Taehyung all the time and would be whining when her husband took too long to pick her up from work. She just wanted him by her side all the time, with no interruption
The same happened to Taehyung. His co-actors would listen to him talking about his wife all the time or just listening to the couple talking on face time. Some of them thought it was cute but other would be tired of it, but isn't like Taehyung cared about it at all
Jennie's morning sickness weren't that frequent anymore, but it would happen here and there at the weirdest times of the day. And the same could be said about Jennie's aversion to some smells. Taehyung had to sleep on the floor for a week because she couldn't stand his smell
Of course his back was sore by the end of the week and Jennie kind of felt bad and offered to massage him and Taehyung loved to feel her soft hands on his back and the soft kisses that she would press here and there. He wouldn't mind sleeping on the floor if he was going to get this treatment every time he spent some time away from their bed
It was just some other day and Jennie was fast asleep while Taehyung was cooking their dinner. He decided to surprise her with one of her favorite meals: kimchi fried rich and tteokbokki. She never would say no to this dishes, it always would made her happier when she was having a bad day or something
Taehyung did read all the recipes he found online and watched as much videos as he could. He even called his mother to ask how to cook a perfect tteokbokki and kimchi fried rich. He made sure to follow everything his mother told him and once he finished the dishes, he was proud of himself. His tteokbokki and fried rich tasted exactly the same as his mother cooked and maybe from now on, they wouldn't have to go to a restaurant or to his parent's house when Jennie was craving some of that
Taehyung went to their bedroom and smiled to himself as he noticed how Jennie hugged her pillow tightly
For a second, Taehyung's mind wandered to their future. Would their baby have chubby cheeks, pouting lips and feline eyes too? It would be so cute
He sat down in the empty spot beside his wife and kissed her forehead, cheeks, nose and finally her lips. He couldn't help but to smile when Jennie couldn't help but to show her gummy smile when she opened her eyes, a soft giggle coming out of her lips because of the ticklish feeling of Taehyung's kisses
"Hey, my pretty sleepy head" He said, pecking his wife's lips once more
Jennie sat up, her arms sneaking around Taehyung's waist and she rested her head on his chest
"Hey love" She kissed his neck and held his hand as Taehyung helped her to stand up
Getting in the kitchen was something hard to do because at every step, they would stop to kiss each other here and there. They couldn't get off of each other and there was nothing to stop them, so they would enjoy it as much as they could
But as soon as they stepped in the kitchen, Jennie yelped. Taehyung's eyes widened and he quickly cupped her puffy cheeks
"What's wrong?" Worry was explicit on his tone
Jennie just pointed to the tteokbokki and kimchi fried rice before running to the bathroom. And there they go again. Taehyung never expected Jennie to be like that to her favorite food. She can't even came close to the meal. But he can't mad at his wife, it wasn't Jennie's fault at all
She was done with vomiting and now they were cuddling in the couch, he then asked what she wanted to eat
"Pizza!" Jennie said happily and hugged Taehyung tightly, pressing her lips against his collarbones, up to his jawline and all over his face "And make sure they will put strawberry on it"
The last sentence made Taehyung frown "You hate pizza and love strawberry but now, you are combining both of together, its ridiculous" He said and shook his head
The new side of Jennie was definitely a weird one, he assumed. Jennie shrugged at Taehyung and waited for her husband to ordered their pizza. She kept on repeating about the strawberries and he rolled his eyes playfully before asking them to put lots of strawberry on it
Almost thirty minutes later, they were sitting on the couch, eating pizza and watching movies. Taehyung was amused at how Jennie was eating all of that. Usually, she wouldn't even come close to pizza, but now, she was the total opposite. He made sure to snap a couple of pictures so he could use it later on when they have silly fights
Jennie noticed what her husband was doing and moved closer to hit his shoulder playfully. Taehyung let out a soft laugh before wrapping her arms around her waist
"Hey baby, you're making your mommy go crazy! She's even eating pizza even on top of strawberries" He laughed and rubbed Jennie's stomach. The woman rolled her eyes playfully while running her fingers through his soft hair
"You should sing our baby a song" Jennie suggested and Taehyung looked up at her, shaking his head slightly
"You're the one with a angelic voice, though" Before Taehyung could refuse once more, Jennie was looking at him with those cute kitten eyes and now he couldn't resist it "Ah, fine. Mm, I sang this to your mommy once, when we were dating. I think that's why she decided to marry me"
Taehyung giggled before he started singing 'Singin in the rain'
Jennie just closed her eyes, listening to her husband deep and husky voice. It warmed her heart and she was pretty sure that their baby would like it too
As Taehyung start singing the last verse, Jennie couldn't help but to joined him. They sang it together, just like they did in their wedding day. As they finished singing, he leaned up to kiss her lips
"Let's cuddle in the bed" He said and stood up before carrying Jennie in bridal style to their bedroom
