After telling everyone about their rather pleasant news, the couple decided it was finally time to start decorating the babies room. For the past few months, they spent some time on Pinterest, gathering ideas for it
They didn't want anything fancy but they didn't want to stick to the old blue and pink. Taehyung spend a whole time while telling his pregnant wife about how colors and genders shouldn't be related and how society was the one to blame for this
In the end of the day, they decided to go with the white color it was the only color they could agree. But Taehyung had a wonderful idea of calling one of his bestfriend, Jimin. The man was a artist too beside singer and the couple happened to like the idea of making a beautiful canvas in one of the walls
"Should it be a garden?" Jennie asked while scrolling down on her phone, checking more ideas on the internet
"Or maybe it could be the sky? I mean, we have two little angels coming" Taehyung answered, his fingers gently caressing his wife's belly. Jennie was showing more and more and both of them were happy that the babies were growing healthy
"You're so sweet, you know that?" She said and looked up at her husband, quickly leaning up to press her lips against his
Most of their days would be just like that, cuddling in bed, Taehyung being all worried about his wife and Jennie being just happy with everything that happened in her life. Sure, there would be the emotional breakdowns sometimes, whenever the hormones decided to play with her, but Taehyung was always there to hold her and tell her that everything would be okay. They were living in their own little world, blissful about every new experience
Took them long enough but they decided to go with the sky theme. When Taehyung told his friend about it, Jimin said he knew they'd make this choice
Days later, the couple was out to buy furniture and more decoration for the bedroom. Taehyung believed his wife had a strong aesthetic sense, that's the reason why he let Jennie made most of the choices. Most of their likings were similar, so there was no trouble on choosing what to buy
"Tae, which one you like the most?" Looking around, Jennie couldn't spot her husband and for a second she was panicking
Well, Taehyung was an adult, but he'd never leave Jennie's side without a warning
Walking through the aisles, Jennie bit her lower lip. Did she really just lose her husband? But as soon as she reached the baby toys aisle, she found him. Taehyung was having lots of fun gathering as many toys as he could on his arms
"Jen! Look, they're gonna love this!" He said with a bright smile on his lips, the sight was just so cute, to the point Jennie couldn't even be mad for being left behind "Look, look! It plays the baby shark song!"
Taehyung approached his wife, holding the piano toy and pressing a random key, the music echoing on the store. It made Jennie wonder who would be the one having fun, Taehyung or their babies
"Can we get it? Please!" Giving his wife a cute look with a small pout on his lips, Taehyung almost begged, a soft giggle came from Jennie as she nodded her head, wrapping her arms around her husband
"Yes, we can get that. But make sure you'll share it with our babies"
After paying the bill and signing a few papers to have all their orders to delivered at their home, the couple walked out, hand in hand. Taehyung was just way too cheerful about the toys, it was cute
"How old are you again? Three?" The woman laughed while hugging her husband's arms as they headed to their car in the parking lot
"You're just jealous you didn't get a baby shark piano" Taehyung retorted before showing his tongue
"Oh, so now you're admitting it's yours and not for the kids, huh?"
For a second, Taehyung was speechless, he used to be the one to say the smart things, but Jennie was getting better at this
"Shit. I gotta step up in my game"
They laughed while Taehyung opened the door for Jennie to get inside the car. Coming back home, they found Jimin gathering his brushes and paintings. The man spent the whole day working on making the kids room a beautiful sky, just like how their friends requested
"You guys are home! I hope you all enjoy my art work. Don't touch the walls just yet, the paint is fresh and it might mess up both your hands and the painting, too" Jimin warned before smiling to the couple "Rose sent a little gift. I left it on the coffee table. I'll see you guys later. Bye"
After biding his goodbye, he left the place and the couple was all alone again. Taehyung went to the kitchen to get water to both of them, especially to Jennie while she was checking the gift Rose had sent to them. Unwrapping it, she found out two cute plushies, one was bear shaped and the other one was the cat shaped
"Isn't it super cute?" Jennie said as she felt Taehyung's arm around her waist "Let's put in on the babies crib when our orders arrive" Nodding in agreement, Taehyung grabbed the cat plush, smiling at how cute it looked
"Our babies will know that their parents are always there for them" Turning to look at his wife, whom was just done drinking all of her water, Taehyung smiled "Shall we take a look at their room?"
"Yes, we should" Hand in hand, they walked towards one of the most special place they now had at home
Both of them were excited to know how it looked like. Opening the door, Taehyung quickly turned on the lights. Jennie squeezed her both of hands as she walked inside first
Both looking around in awe, Jimin surely had done an amazing work. The baby blue walls made them feel as if they were in the sky, the soft white clouds looked like cotton candy
Taehyung hugged his wife from behind, placing his hand on top of Jennie's baby bump, caressing it slowly as they looked around. The woman rested her head against Taehyung's chest
"It's beautiful. Just like you" Taehyung whispered and kissed her head
"Sweet talker"
They stood there just like that, thinking about how it would be when the babies will finally out. But then, it happened
"Did you feel it?" Jennie asked, her voice cracking a little bit
Taehyung nodded immediately, not even being able to figure out his words as they felt the babies kicking once again
"Oh god, they're kicking!" Jennie said, happiness evident on her tone, but she couldn't help, the tears already rolling down on her chubby cheeks
"Hey, little babies. Do you guys like your new room?" Taehyung said, while gently pressing his palm on his wife's belly
There were another few kicks, before the babies were quiet. Wiping her tears away, Jennie quickly turned around, throwing her arms around Taehyung's neck, pulling the man for a kiss
"I love you" She whispered while kissing her husband
"I love you too"
