For the past few days Taehyung had been reading all the labor content he could find online, bookstores, articles, everything
The 38th week of pregnancy arrived faster than what both of them expected and from this point and on, the babies could be there anytime soon
"Babe?" Jennie called out, making Taehyung shift his attention from the book to his wife, who was laid on the couch, resting her head on Taehyung's lap
"What is it, love? Are you in pain? Do you need anything? Don't tell me your water broke, oh my god"
Jennie could only laugh at her husband's behavior. At the same time it was amusing, she felt loved, knowing he cared so much about her and their babies
"I love you. That's it"
A sigh could be heard. Taehyung smiled widely before kissing the female's forehead and running his fingers through her hair
"I love you too"
They spent most of their days at home, enjoying each other presence more than anything. Also, Jennie was having a hard time at moving due to her size. Carrying two babies wasn't as easy as people thought. The only time they'd leave the house was for doctor's appointments or when Taehyung had to go to the grocery store down the block
Their friends paid them a daily visit. The three couple would make sure to check on their friends and offer some help to anything they needed. Despite being a bit of a headache when they started arguing about the babies' favorite, they were great support during the pregnancy and Jennie couldn't be more grateful for having amazing friends
"It's almost the time for our friends to stop by" Jennie mentioned, still looking up at her husband
"Can we just ignore it when they knock? I don't really feel like moving" Taehyung said, smiling softly
His fingers were tangled on the silky hair of his wife, the book he was once reading, was now placed on the coffee table as his attention was all over Jennie
"We can. But you know they wouldn't give up easily"
As much as Jennie also wanted to cuddle him and do nothing all day, she didn't have the heart to be rude to their friends
By the time their friends arrived, Jennie and Taehyung were cuddling on the couch, sharing kisses and gentle touches. Although they had some intimate moments during the pregnancy, Taehyung knew that now, more than never, Jennie was in need of some reassurance and love rather than sexual touches. With a groan, Taehyung got off the couch to open the door
"Hey Hyung/Tae!" His friends greeted the man before stepping inside the house, followed by their wives who was carrying a pizza & chicken box aside from cold drinks too
"We brought some food!" Jisoo said happily, making her way to the kitchen along with her husband
The group shared dinner, they all talked about their day at work and maybe there was some gossip when they talked but they loved it
In the end of the day, Jennie and Taehyung were grateful for those daily visits. It was almost 8PM when they left the house, leaving Taehyung and Jennie alone to enjoy their time together once more

3:25 AM
It was supposed to be their sleeping time, when they'd be cuddling and having a peaceful moment in bed, but Jennie was wide awake. The stinging pain kept her from sleeping properly
At first, she thought it was some of those 'false' labor pains. She had some of those for the past month and checked with the doctor to talk about them. However, this time it was so much more intense than all the others. And that's when she realized it
"Tae, wake up!" She said in a hurry, nudging her husband
Startled, Taehyung sat up quickly, turning on the lamp on their nightstand "Babe, are you okay?" He asked, worriedly
"We need to go to the hospital. Now!"
Panicked, Taehyung never changed his clothes so fast in his life. Jennie wished she could do the same, but her movements were restrained and she couldn't move as fast. With the help of her husband, she managed to at least wear a jacket on top of her large pajama shirts and pants
Before going, Taehyung made sure to grab the babies bag they had prepared. Good thing Jennie had it ready a few weeks before, Taehyung would never manage to do it on his own and in a rush
They got in the car and Jennie's pain was increasing. Her grunts were becoming actual screams of pain, sweat covered her forehead as she squeezed Taehyung's arm
"Faster, Tae!" She groaned, shutting her eyes closed
Action movies had nothing on how Taehyung drove around the city. The hospital was close to their residence, but right now, it felt so far away
"I'm here baby, I'm right here with you" Taehyung tried to calm his wife, even though he knew it probably wouldn't work
"My water broke" Jennie said, making Taehyung to panic even more
Thankfully, at this point, they were at the hospital parking area. He was quick to leave the car, to care for his wife
"My wife is about to give birth, help" He said to the guard who was coming to their direction
Everything happened so fast, the nurses arrived, helping Taehyung to take Jennie out of the car, taking the woman to the labor room

"Mr. Kim, you may go in now" The nurse said
For the past minutes, Jennie was taken to the delivery room. Their babies would be brought into the world anytime soon and Taehyung was almost flipping. He made sure to text their parents and friends about the sudden delivery before he was asked to change his clothes into laboratory ones, so he could enter the delivery room and stay there with Jennie
As soon as Taehyung got a sight of his wife, he hastened to her side. Jennie was now covered in sweat, a pained expression fell upon her face. He couldn't imagine how it felt like, but he was so proud of his wife
"You're doing amazing, sweetie" He gave his wife support as Jennie went through the delivery process
It felt like Jennie's strength increased a hundred time - Taehyung was pretty sure he wouldn't felt his hand movements anytime soon, but it would all be worth it
"I can see the head, Mrs. Kim. Keep pushing!" The doctor said, encouraging Jennie to keep pushing
The female felt like she wouldn't be able to go through it, the feeling was overwhelming and her body energy wasn't at the best condition - the pain she felt early took most of her energy
"Tae..." Jennie mumbled, looking up at her husband. The man leaned down to press his lips against her forehead
"You can do it, love. I'm here with you"
It took three pushes until the first baby was out, a loud cry announced her arrival to the world - a lovely baby girl. Taehyung barely caught a glimpse of his child before she was handed over to a nurse, so she could take care of his girl while Jennie delivered the second child
"A bit more, love. Just a little bit more" Taehyung kept on encouraging, his eyes fixed on Jennie's
The woman was so tired after delivering the first baby, but she kept on pushing, following the doctors instructions. Gladly, the second delivery was faster than the first. After a strong push, their baby boy was welcomed into the world as well
Jennie was exhausted, but she was happy
"I love you" Taehyung said, kissing Jennie's lips for a moment "I'm so proud of you"
Jennie could only smile while heavy breathing "I love you too" She managed to say, while trying to keep her breathing steady
Half and hour later, the nurse approached them with their babies in her arms
"Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Kim. Mrs. Kim gave birth to two healthy children. Have you chosen the babies names?" The kind nurse asked, placing both children in Jennie's arms
"Yoonah & Yoon-suh" She said, smiling widely as she looked at her children
"Beautiful names. I shall leave both of you alone. Congratulations"
They looked so beautiful. Yoon-suh had the same beauty mark as Jennie, right above his eye, next to his eyebrow. He exactly look alike Jennie while Yoonah, her face exact the carbon copy of Taehyung
Taehyung didn't know how or when, but he started tearing up, the tears rolled down on his handsome face as he crouched down, now at the same level as his wife who was laying down on the hospital bed
"Hey, little ones" He said with a trembling voice, sniffing "Daddy is so happy to meet you"
Jennie shifted her gaze to look at her husband with a gummy smile on her face "Hold them"
He got up again, ready to engulf his children into his embrace. It was the first time he would be holding them and he was not sure of how to do it, but once Jennie placed them in his arms, he knew that this was real. His children were right there, with them
"I love you, Tae" Jennie said, looking at her husband
"I love you too, Jen" He said as he kissed her lips
They would have a long journey as parents, that's true. But they were ready to face everything and learn everything about babies, as long as they would together, they could do it
A new family is born and now they are complete
