Summer of love // Lumax

Max woke up by one of the councelours blowing an air horn in her face.
She quickly got up, got her bags and walked outside to see everyone waiting for her.
"Look who's risen from the dead" El said and Max flipped her off. Mr. Munson lead them to a cabin on the other side off the lake. As they stepped in the door the floor creaked like crazy. "Jeez did someone die in here" Dustin asks as he held his fingers over his nose to avoid the smell.
"No but someone will if they don't solve their problems" Munson said and walked out the door, leaving them in the old and creepy cabin.
And to top it all it only had 4 small beds. Lucas and Max took one, Mike and El took another, leaving Will and Dustin to have their own. The cabin didn't have air conditioning either. So they were sweating like crazy.

It's been a few days of staying at the cabin and El and Max either starts getting into small arguments with eachother or completely ignore one another, and the boys seemed to have made up with eachother.
Max walked out to get some fresh air and Lucas followed. She sat down on the side of the little pier and Lucas did the same. It was around 8pm and the sun had just started to go down and the sky was mixed with all sorts of Colors.

They made small talk with eachother  for a little bit and then Lucas asked "Oh shit, do you see that in the water?"
Max looked over to see what he was pointing at. As nothing was there, she grew confused and turned back around. Sadly for Max, this resulted of being pushed into the lake.
"LUCAS" she screamed annoyed. Lucas laughed and put his arm out to help her up, but this backfired and he was pulled in.
At this point Max wasn't annoyed anymore, she was in fact dying from laughter.
Lucas playfully rolled his eyes at her, but then stopped to look at her in the eyes. He was drowning in her crystal blue eyes as he noticed something.
"Wait a minute"
"What" Max said and smiled a little.
"You can't reach can you?" Lucas said and chuckled.
Lucas had grown quite much over the years, and of course now, Max and Lucas's height diffrent was very obvious, but Lucas thought it was cute.
Max shoved water in his face but couldn't help but laugh with him. He grabbed her by her waist and pulled her closer. He kissed her lips softly as Max's arms snaked around Lucas neck.

"Stop sucking eachothers faces off, let's get wasted"
Dustin said before walking inside again.
Max and Lucas looked at eachother with an annoyed and confused look.

They went inside and Max went to change first.
"So what's the deal? Is she your girlfriend or something" Will asked.
"No, she's not. I don't know, it's complicated"
"She's probably a slut, Lucas. Just warning you." El said from across the room. "You're one to talk" Will mumbled to her sister and chuckled, as Dustin tried to hide his smile.
El rolled her eyes and went back to talking with Mike. "Ignore her, she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about" Will said as Dustin pulled out alcohol from his bag. "Dude where the hell did you get that?!" Lucas asked. "I know a guy" Dustin said in a mysterious tone as Will laughed. 
"Maybe we should't be drinking? I mean we have already got in a lot of trouble" Mike said as he rolled his eyes at them as they opened a beer.
"pussy" Lucas said as he threw Max a beer as she walked out of the bathroom.
"No I don't wanna scrub the toilets and have kitchen duty for the rest of camp, so if you'll excuse me" Mike said as he got up and left, and El followed.
Max rolled her eyes as she sat up next to Lucas.

After a while Dustin, Lucas, Max and Will was completely gone. They were now outside a little bit into the woods, joking around and laughing at literally nothing. Lucas took Max's arm and walked back to the cabin. They went to sit on the little porch fence.
"Do you wanna get high" He asked her and offered her his cigarette with a smirk.
Max nodded and took his cigarette.
Max pretended that it wasn't her first time smoking, but let out a few coughs after a good 10 seconds, leaving Lucas laughing.
There lips were about to connect as they heard Dustin scream from the woods.
Lucas and Max quickly ran to where the scream came from and ran into Dustin and Will.
"W-what happend" Lucas said stumbling across his words.
"Uhm, we walked further into the- uhm, the woods and we saw Mike and E-" Will said out of breath but was stopped by Lucas saying "Don't tell me what happend next, I don't want those kind of visions in my head" completely grossed out. By that he took Max's arms and walked away. On the way back Max kept stumbling over bushes and treestumps. She was completely wasted while Lucas had a very high tolerance for alcohol. Of course he was high, but not as high as the girl to his left. He carried her on his back until they got to the porch. That was when Max threw up in one of the bushes, leaving puke all over her shirt and hair. Max was quick to apologize while on the verge of sobbing while wiping her mouth. By that time Lucas discovered that Max was probably one of the emotional one's when drunk but he thought it was adorable. He told her it was okay before getting her inside. He pulled her into the bathroom and got her to step into the shower, and as the gentlemen he is, he kept her clothes on, just making her bend over a bit so he could rinse out the puke from the wavy red hair. After he did that he put her hair into a low ponytail and gave her one of his t-shirts. Max shaked her head and signaled him to help her get her it on. Max was sobering up but pretended not to, but just to test him of course. He carefully pulled off her crop top, leaving her in just her bra. Then he helped her put on one of his oversized t-shirt. Though it was only around 10:00, everyone went to bed completely drained of energy. Max snuggled up to Lucas in the small bed, burying her head into the crook of his neck, and fell asleep, knowing that everyone would have the worst headache tomorrow.
