"We've been walking a while, you said you saw them fall in this direction, right?" Terry asked.

Woolwingmon nodded. "Positive. One sec while I make sure we're still going towards em." He flew high into the sky to scout around.

"Another apple?" Zassoumon asked.

Terry forgot he was still carrying the food. "Oh my bad, here, you can have as much as you want Zassoumon." He reached into his bag and pulled out the small bundle of fruits and mushrooms they had managed to forage during the journey.

"Oooo apple AND mush!" Zassoumon exclaimed, gulping down the food.

Terry looked up in time to see Woolwingmon descending. He caught him and asked "What'd you see up there?"

"We're really close! I see a little village and it looks like they're getting ready for something." He climbed up to Terry's shoulders. "We should be there in just a few minutes."

When they finally made their way through the clearing, what they saw could indeed be described as a little village. There were about 30 huts as well as what appeared to be some shops. Beyond that was a large group of fields for farming.

"Is that... meat?" Terry saw huge chunks of meat sticking out of the farmland.

Woolwingmon was giddy with excitement. "It is! I'm so happy, I haven't had meat in weeks!"

"But... it just grows out of the ground like that?" Terry was dumbfounded, but also curious about the flavor.

"Oh yeah! I forgot humans can't grow meat. You're gonna love it!" Woolwingmon flew towards the village.

"We're uh, working on it." Terry mumbled, remembering the tofu he and Kevin had for dinner the night before. He shook the thought away and continued towards the village.

As they got closer he noticed all of the villagers were running around as if they were preparing for an event. All of the villagers were various kinds of monsters. Terry noted some small multicolored dragons, a large round rabbit, and a few aquatic-themed creatures. There was also an interesting floating creature that looked like an odd pink flower.

"Oh my gosh!" It shouted. "You're a human!"

Terry wondered if that was a bad thing around here, but the other monsters carried on with their business. "Yeah, um, I hope that's not a problem."

"No!" The flower said, "It's wonderful! Tina and Colleen will be so happy to see another human!"

Terry gasped. "Tina and Colleen are here?! Where?" He was excited to see his human friends after a whole day of walking around with his moth friend and vegetable friend.

"I'll take you, we're staying in a nice hut near the town square!" He led them along and introduced himself as Lalamon.

They came to a stop at a large hut with squared walls that stood out against the many with rounded walls. They entered the front and saw a large desk where a monster in the shape of a cat sat in a comically large chair.

"Oh my goodness, another human and some friends as well! Mayor Gatomon, at your service. Ah, Lalamon, you brought them to see their friends?"

"That's right! They'll all be joining us for the festival!" Lalamon responded. Terry and Woolwingmon exchanged glances.

"One of our leaders is coming to the village tonight for a feast. He'll be especially interesting to talk to you humans. Enough of that for now, go on through the room to the left to catch up with your friends." Gatomon got back to his paperwork as Lalamon led everyone to the room.
