Han's curiosity about magic was piqued when he saw someone teleport, something he thought only happened in fiction in his previous world.
Well, the world he's in now is indeed fiction—but it's a fiction-turned-reality.
Although his main focus is Claude, Han recognizes that mastering magic is crucial for gaining authority in this world, and he needs that power to win Claude over. But that's a concern for the future.
For now, he's just a powerless child, so his only option is to see Claude as his father.
He isn't worried about developing a father-son relationship. He's confident that, when the time comes, his charm will be enough to win Claude's heart.
His thoughts were interrupted when Claude tapped his forehead, prompting him to look up.
Before Han could ask what was happening, Claude's hand began rubbing his forehead.
Han remembered Tobias kissing his forehead earlier and wondered, "Could Claude be... jealous?" He struggled to hide his smile at the unexpected tenderness.
"Are you smiling?" Claude asked.
"........" Han hesitated but thought, "It wouldn't hurt, right?"
Hearing Han murmur, Claude leaned in closer to listen when he noticed the child making a firm expression.
Without warning, Han planted a gentle kiss on Claude's lips, followed by a smooching sound.
Claude's eyes widened in surprise as he stared at Han, stunned.
"I did it!" Han thought, feeling a rush of bliss from the simple kiss, which far surpassed any thrill from wrestling with his old friends, especially the one who had killed him.
After a moment, Claude's discomfort became evident.
He felt uncomfortable being intimate with his newly found child.
After all, he dislikes physical contact with anybody other than when he needs to release his sexual urges.
"Why did you do that?" Claude asked, his tone turning cold.
"I-I..." Han panicked.
"Speak."
"I wanted to thank you for saving me..." Han said, his voice trembling.
"You should have just said it," Claude reprimanded.
"But I wanted it to be special!" Han argued, tears welling in his eyes.
Claude's reprimands faltered as he saw Han's distress. He felt unable to continue scolding him.
"Fool."
Han hiccupped.
Claude wiped Han's tears with a blank expression and said, "If you want to thank someone, just say thank you, not kiss them."
"But I want to kiss you," Han protested weakly.
"You can't do it with me."
"Then can I do it with Felix instead?"
Claude's face darkened instantly. "No."
"But—"
"Just do it with me, only me, understand?" Claude relented.
Han's eyes sparkled with innocence as he smirked internally at his success. "Only Daddy?"
"Only me. It's not appropriate to do it with others."
So, it's appropriate for a son to kiss his father's lips instead?
Han dismissed the idea that such kisses were normal between children and parents. He had already planned to charm Claude into kissing him even when he was an adult.
