Y/n's pov

"Alright you're free go on ", I told Tenko ushering him forward. He immediately took off towards the park. This one was near our home. What I didn't get was how can the kid get so excited for something so boring.

Park playgrounds are like miniature obstacle courses for children and you don't get hurt as badly which ruins the fun of it. Besides that he kept begging me to take him out somewhere so guess long as he's happy I'm happy.

I sat down on the bench near the playground, not too far away from it. I placed my shield right beside my legs. You can't be too careful these days. My phone suddenly started ringing. I let out a sigh and fished it out from my pocket; It was an unknown caller, I swear if its that prick All for One.

"Hello", I answered.

"This Sergeant" the familiar country voice questioned. A smile sprite across my face.

"What do you want Rick", I chuckled. Rick was a hero I worked alongside with frequently back in America. People refer to him as Goldilocks cause of his petty long golden hair. Time was a bitch though, he looked more like a red neck last time I saw him.

"Just wanted to call and see if you were alive. Was hoping you were dead in a ditch somewhere", he answered causing me to let out a scoff.

"Well sorry to disappoint", I chuckled crossing my legs and looked around looking for Rick in case he was here.

"How'd get this number", I questioned. "Oh you know me and my connections so wasn't hard finding ya", he began cackling. "And you aren't exactly quiet like you trying to be. I mean what other asshole would shoves a dude head up his buddy's asshole!", he laughed hysterically.

"Shouldn't have called me a bitch", I commented. "Still with those damn trigger words, he sighed happily.

"So you gon tell me why you're calling me", I questioned. "Is it wrong to catch up with an old coworker", Rick questioned. "When the co worker blew your arm and leg off", I added. He was quiet for a good minute.

"....That's all you remember", he questioned. "That and you got a cheap ass prosthetics", I chuckled. "You killed my family Y/n", he stated amusement now gone out of his tone. I nodded my head licking my lips.

"My wife and kid Y/n", he rephrased. "..Yeah sorry about that", I replied. "Don't bullshit me, you're not", he snapped. "No Rick I truly am", I sighed. "No you are not. If you were actually fucking sorry you would accept that you are a sick goddamn individual that needs fucking help", he ranted.

"I ain't sick", I spat. "Never was and never going to be. I'm not weak", I spat. "Oh really? Maybe I should tell your son", he suggested causing me to stop breathing for a second.
