Chapter 22: Gone.

I'm writing this at the school playground rn 💀

Bro I am hella scared since there are like, 3 of my other friends who don't know my account and all and they're sitting next to me. I thought I might use this time to write lol

I sighas we walk to the outpost. I don't know what I did to deserve what just happened, but I guess I'll just have to deal with it.

I know that I have to finish this quick, but I don't really know if I'll be un-infected if I finish this damn book.

...

"What if I-" I murmur to myself, but I stop talking.

No, don't think like that! Imagine how mad Kayla would be!

I shake my head side to side in confusion, trying to get the mad thoughts I had put of my brain. In the middle of it, Pony put a hand on my shoulder.

"...You alright?" He asks me with a worried tone in his voice.

"I'm fine." I reply. Pony looks at me, unsatisfied with my half-*ssed answer.

"Don't lie to me, Forrest." I give him a death stare.

"I said, don't call me that again." I grit my teeth angrily. Pony gets startled for a bit, but eventually calms down and removes his hand from my left shoulder.

"Hey guys, we're here." Zizzy notifies us. We stand in front of the outpost's entrance, not knowing what to expect.

I knew most of what would happen, but I didn't want to f*ck it also like how I did with the scratch.

I roll my eyes and sigh before running into the outpost.

"H-Hey!" Zizzy stuttered. I ignore her and I run over to the cyan key. I grab the key and I unlock the cyan door, opening the staircase.

I go up and throw the cyan key to the side, and I grab the red key instead. I run over to the red door and unlock it.

I walk inside, taking in my surroundings. I look in front of me and I switch out my items.

Green key and yellow key in-hand, I jump down the stairs and rush to the Medbay. I rush past a few soldiers, and they somehow don't mind me. Well, unless I'm pretty close to them.

I unlock the green door, the yellow safe next. I grabbed the fire extinguisher and the fire died out. I look around me, and I see Zizzy going after the soldiers already.

"Hey, Kreek! What were you thinking?!" Zizzy yelled at me as she stabbed a soldier and threw the body to the side.

I rushed upstairs, suddenly feeling a burning sensation in my right hand, where I had gotten the scratch. I drop the fire extinguisher and yelp in pain, falling to the ground.
