"What is going here???" an unknown voice interrupted the conversation.

(Rd: Roy's dad, rm: Roy's mom, Ld: Lia's dad, Lm: Lia's mom)

Roy and Lia: dad!! Mom!!

Roy: what are you doing here?

Rd: what are we doing here? What the hell you both were talking about? Don't you try to lie, we heard everything from start to end.

Ld: we came here to give you guys a surprise but instead we got the surprise.

Lia: dad... Actually, I love someone else.

Roy: yes Dr. We want to divorce each other.

Hearing this Rd stepped forward to slap Roy but Adi came in between and ended up getting the slap.

Roy: Adi are you okay?

Adi: yeah

Roy: dad what was that? Why?

Rd: what why? Did you think about our reputation? And what is all this? Huhh!!!! You want divorce? And you like a man???

Rm: and Lia, I thought you were a descent girl and knew what to do and what not to but you slept with some other guy and that too after marriage and had a child of his???

Lm: wasn't it because your dear gay son was not able to fulfill my girl's desires??

Rd: watch your words !!(he glared)

Ld: what watch your words? Your son is gay and he likes man.

And for few more moments they had verbal fight like cats and dogs. Roy who was facing Adi's slapped face and caressing it was fuming with anger, anger of all these years, frustration of all these years and he had enough. He turned facing all 4 narcissistic, his eyes became teary

Roy: stop it !!!!Just stop it!!! All of you stop it. Don't you think of your reputation now??? Look 4 highly respected people are fighting like there is no tomorrow. Reputation! Reputation! And reputation!! Where the hell went that reputation of yours??!!

Rd: how dare you talk to your parents like this? You-

Roy: Dr. You never allowed me to say you dad. You don't know anything about my life. You even don't know that we were completely faking our marriage. You always forced me to do things you wanted me to do. You always forced your will on me. I never wanted to go to medical school, I wanted to be in either sports or music industry. Do you even know how I spent my first two years of medical school? No, you only know that my grades dropped but never knew why and you were never interested in the reason. If you were ever, I won't be like this. Do you know how much depressed I was until now??? How many antidepressant pills I have taken? How many times I have fainted during the first two years of medical school? I was afraid of seeing those dead bodies, that blood. How many times I vomited? Do you know??? And when I passed the school, you again tried to kept hold on me by forcing me to neurosurgery. When I finally thought the hell was over, you tied in a relationship, I never wanted to be in. You ruined mine as well as Lia's life too. And when I asked for divorce, you gave me a strict no. Like seriously???? Are you even humans???? And mom you always said you loved me but from what I have seen no mothers do what you did. You don't love me, you never did....

Roy cried, Adi held his hand and patted him. Seeing Roy like this, Adi's heart ached a lot but it was good for Roy to take out his all frustrations of so many years so he let him be.

Rd: it was all for your sake.

Roy: stop saying that. It was never for my sake; it was always for your sake and reputation. All what you cared was whether I was on top of all or not. If it was for my sake then you would have never beaten me on getting lower grades than one or two students. I would have been in sports or music industry, not here.

Rm: but you were happy when you got those medals and certificates and respect.

Roy: no, I was never happy. Look at those photos again where I was receiving awards. It was always you people, always your reputation. So now I have decided that I will divorce Lia and will live with Adi.

Rd: never! If you had brought another woman, I would have still accepted but for this homo never!!

Roy: language sir!!! Your son is also one of them then. If you insult him, I won't stand back. And it's my life. I will do whatever I want. I have had enough from both of you but now I will take my own decisions. Adi and I will live together, Lia and I will divorce. That's it. If anyone has any problem, they can keep it to themselves. (He said glaring the 2 pair of parents)

Lia: yes dad. I will live with Tom and Jay. I will divorce him.

Lm: Lia!! You can't and will never.

Lia: now I am an adult and can do whatever I want to. And I will.

Rd: if only Ahnu was here, this won't be happening.

After hearing these words, Roy's rage was at peak.

Roy: Ahnu?!! Don't say his name from your mouth. He doesn't deserve such disrespect.

Rm: Roy?!! How dare you y talk like that?? Ahnu is your elder brother and our first son.

Roy: mom, he can't be your son. If he was, you would not have tortured him to the limit that he wanted to die. (Roy looked at his parent's confused faces) we all know that it was not an accident he, himself jump off the train-it was not because he lost his balance because of the crowd. He was fed up of his life, he was fed up of both of you, you guys even interfered with his love life and with your connections-you sent his lover far from him, the only person he could rely on, the only person who understood him, you took all his happiness.

His mother and father were only processing the former words spoken by Roy.

Rm: no!!! My child can't. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was not a suicide

Roy: (he scoffed) your child??? Did you ever treat him as a child or even a human?? Always you forced him to study, be top of everything. And yes, it was not a suicide, it was a murder. Murder disguised as suicide. Murder of his dreams, his self-esteem, his confidence, his happiness--murder of the personality which described him. Just for the sake of your so-called reputation, you murdered your own child. You ruined everything!!!!

With that Roy started crying his heart out. Adi embraced him. Roy buried his head inside Adi's crook and cried. While his parents were unable to process what Adi said just now.
