INFINITE STRATOS The Iron Man

Chapter 12 Technovore part 1

You are fighting Technovore as it tries to consume your arc reactor before blasting it as Charlotte and Laura scream your name as you rush at it to finish the fight but to know how you got to this point we need to go back to the moments leading up to this moment.

5 hours earlier

You all start running out the room and head to the exit as the screech got louder and soon the sound of claws scratching at the ground echo through the halls but you all got to the exit only to see it was blocked.

Charlotte: "We just came in through here".

Me: "The security system must of rebooted meaning we are trapped with that thing".

The screech came again and this time the dark concealed the creature as a bright red light shines in the dark but your quick to fight back as you blast at it with your replacement arm surprising everyone as you all start running down another hallway as the creature roars echo.

Cecilia: "WHAT DO WE DO"?

Me: "QUICK EVERYONE INTO THAT ROOM".

As you got in the room you shut the door as the creature slammed against it cracking the glass but not enough to allow it in as the red light disappears and you walk over to the window but couldn't see anything.

Me: "I think we are safe for now".

Laura: "That creature seems to be very aggressive".

Me: "Well it eats technology and after being offline for so long it's got to be starving but we need to get off this island and fast".

You look round the room and locate another computer and thanks to the power being back online your able to use it to contact the other and inform them of the problem Ichika wanted to come help but the creature was still unknown as such you tell them to stay where they are.

Laura: "So what is the plan"?

Me: "Well we need to deal with the blocked door meaning we need to shut down the security system and by looking at the building map it sees the main control system is here near the power core".

Charlotte: "But what about the creature"?

Cecilia: "Charlotte's right that thing will be hunting us".

Me: "Not if we give it a target which is why I'll be the bait while you 3 head to the security room once there you'll deactivate the security system".

Laura: "This is too risky your nano suit will only feed it".

Me: "I know but it the best chance we have my suit is an easy fix but your IS units are not so lets go".

After leaving the room Cecilia, Charlotte and Laura head off for the security room while you head off in the other direction and activate your nano suit and look for the creature but found no sign of it.

Me: "Something that big couldn't just disappear".

As you are looking something dripped on to my shoulder and it starts to burn before you look up as the creature screeched and pounced on you forcing you to blast it with your repulsors but as you stood up you noticed the damage it had done to your suit.

Me: "Come and get some ugly".

Technovore screech before charging you but you start blasting it but found you repulsors were having less affect as it grabs hold of you and bites into you side but while it wasn't biting your flesh the acid it was using to melt your suit was burning your skin as you break free by using your boosters to get in the air.

Me: "Ok ugly lets see how you deal with this".

You toss something which Technovore couldn't resist as it soon explodes causing Technovore to get splattered all over the walls.

Me: "Looks like you really fell apart for that repulsor bomb".

You land and prepare to leave however the sound of movement caused you to stop and look as Technovore begins to reform which was just great so not only was it able to eat your suit as if it was a candy bar but now the thing couldn't be killed as it roars and lunged at you as you both crash through the floor and as your both falling it consumes more and more of your suit.

Me: "Shit I'm in trouble as for you get off".

You push it off and toss it fast towards the ground as you boost at it and break through the next floor and soon find yourself in the power core room as Technovore grabs you and slammed you to the ground and continues consuming your suit before it tries to consume your arc reactor but you use a beam from your chest to push it back.

Charlotte: "F/N".

Me: >Shit Charlotte, Laura and Cecilia I need to finish this fight before Technovore goes after them but I don't have a lot of power left<.

You watch as Technovore stands up and it's acid dripped from it's mouth as you look at yourself and see that all but your left arm and arc reactor was all that remain of your suit as you rush at Technovore with blasts from your only repulsor as it rushed towards you but as it's arm forms a blade you soon see your training with Houki which you put into action.

Me: "Use your oppenets strike as your chance to counter".

You block it with your left arm but instead of trying to hold it there you change the direction as it slammed into the ground and you punch Technovore in it's face but it soon adapts and turns it's arm into a blaster almost like your repulsor before it shoots at you but in those moments you saw the training with Rin and Cecilia.

Me: "Those who use range weapons are weak to close range attack".

You dodge every blast while rushing forward as you charge your repulsor the power would be dangerous but this thing will not stop unless it's destroyed as you shove your hand inside and a bright blue light starts to shine within Technovore.

Charlotte & Laura: "F/N".

Me: "EAT THIS YOU FUCK PARASITE".

The light soon explodes as your sent flying into the control room as Charlotte, Laura and Cecilia rush over to you.

Cecilia: "Are you alright".

Me: "Might have a couple broken ribs but I'll live lets just get out of here".

You all start heading out the research lab believing the nightmare of Technovore was over but that would soon prove to be incorrect as the creature began to reform only this time it took on a whole new form as you would all soon find out.
