"Jay!" Nya said as he climbed aboard, then ran up to give him a hug.
"Nya!" he said back with a huge smile on his face.
"Zane!" Pixel shouted.
"Pixal!" he said, and they also hugged when they greeted each other.
"I wish more people were that happy to see us," complained Cole, but he shrugged it off.
"Cole, Zane, Kai! You're all okay!" Lloyd said, greeting them with a big grin across his face.
"All is intact," said Zane. "When did Nya return?"
Lloyd looked back at her, then he turned to Zane again.
"I went looking for her on Grave Superior, but we ran into each other when she had to outrun the outpost guards," Lloyd explained. "Where did you guys end up?"
"Oh, y'know, smelling the bad breath that's a quarter-century old from a minotaur king that's chained to his throne." replied Kai, clearly unhappy by that experience.
"And before that, we were stuck in a prison cell with somebody who probably doesn't remember how he actually ended up in his own cell." added Cole, then Lloyd shifted his weight.
"I'm sorry guys," he said. "I really am, I should've believed Nya and all of you."
"It's okay now, we're fine and all--maybe just slightly traumatized," replied Kai. "Did you find Master Wu?"
Nya and Jay stepped up when Nya heard Kai ask the question, but she lowered her head.
"I did find him, but he's not here. He's still on Grave Superior, he insisted that I come back here to get the rest of you, then Lloyd told me that you were gone because you tried looking for me," Nya explained. "If anyone should be sorry, it should be me for not trying to get you all to hear me out and work as a team."
The Ninja looked at each other, some frowning, others nodding.
"Well, we're back as a team now," Cole said. "And it seems like Lloyd gets it now, too."
Lloyd looked up, a tiny grin on his face.
"I've actually found something pretty interesting while you guys were away, come here." Lloyd said, gesturing with his arm for them all to follow him.
They walked over to the green chest they had on board, the scroll he found set on top of it, and the teapot that rested on the ground next to it. Lloyd grabbed the scroll and unraveled it to show all of the Ninja what he had found, they all gasped quietly with awe.
"This scroll appeared on the ship after I had Pixal drop me off in Crestfall," Lloyd explained, handing the scroll to Zane. "This chest was being guarded by Skeletons inside the Crestfall ravine, and inside of it, there's this..."
Lloyd unlatched the chest lid and opened it to pick up the mace-katana that rested inside, made out of Vengestone. They all had their eyebrows raised or a look of wonder on their faces, then Lloyd had to put it back as he felt the stone begin to drain him of his abilities.
"That all looks really old." commented Jay.
"What does that symbol mean on the inside of the lid? It's here on the scroll, too." asked Kai after Zane passed the scroll off to him.
"I don't know, it's all really mysterious," Lloyd replied, then picked up the teapot. "I even found this guy on board."
He opened the lid and showed the group the axolotl sleeping in the water inside. Now they were just bewildered, then Jay unexpectedly slapped the shoulder of Zane.
