"Skei!" Jay shouted while he battled with the snow and wind of Trite's tallest mountain as he climbed it. "Come back!"

As he reached to adjust the ice pick's placement, his shoe slipped, and he fell backwards with a shout. The grappling hook's rope he had used to hold him snapped, and there would be nothing to save him from falling all the way to the bottom far below.

The Ninja were ready, their masks on their faces and their Vengestone weapons strong in their hands.

"Ninja Go!" they shouted as they jumped off the Bounty and charged the watch towers.

Guards sprang from their posts and grabbed their weapons, but they were no match to the Ninja' Spinjitzu and amplified Elemental abilities.

Nya waved her spear in the air and created a large bubble of water from the snow falling, then sent it toward a group of Crows, splashing them soaked.

"Zane! Use your ice!" she shouted.

Zane jumped over, using his shurikens to blast ice crystals at the guards Nya drenched, freezing them in place.

Kai spun and threw a kick that sent a guard back, but then another came up behind him and held him back with a Vengestone staff.

Cole happened to glance back at Kai, then in a split-second, he raised his hammer above his head and slammed it down on the ground, sending a shockwave through the earth and making the ground under the guard spike upward like an earthly punch that sent the guard flying away from Kai.

Kai looked over at Cole and smiled under his mask.

"Thanks Cole!" he said, then shot a blaze of fire from his burning katana, making guards duck out of the way like bowling pins in a bowling alley.

Jay and Lloyd were clearing the frontlines.

Jay, doing something of a dance, was firing lightning bolts with one hand while he swung his kusarigama in the other, knocking down guards that got too close to him.

Lloyd used his forcefield like a shield as he slashed powerful beams of green energy through his sword.

As the Ninja cleared the battlefield, Master Wu, Pixal, Skei and Toromor followed behind them.

They were searching the unconscious guards' pockets for the keys and gathered up several, almost as if each guard tended individually assigned prison cells, instead of having keys for the whole block.

"Let's go! We don't have much time!" shouted Kai as the Ninja reached the stairs and quickly headed down them.

Master Wu, Pixal, Skei and Toromor rejoined them in the deep dark cavern that was carved into holding cells for many, then the group looked back at Pixal who was holding most of the keys.

"Aw, great! This is going to take forever!" Jay commented.

"Yeah, and it'll take even longer to figure out which keys go to which locks," Nya added. "Any ideas?"

"I do have one," Pixal said as she started splitting the keys with the group in fives, then she turned to one of the cell locks. "Zane and I can scan these locks, and based on the models, we'll be able to tell which key goes to what lock."

"But these keys all look the same," remarked Kai. "How will we figure that out?"

Cole was looking a key over in his hand when he noticed small numbers etched into the inside of the handles.

"Easy, we just look at the inside of the keys--they're numbered! I've got A2." Cole said.

The others then moved to look at some of their keys' numbers.
