The Aftermath and The Training Day

A couple of times the first night, Badr woke up crying and had to be taken care of. As Hikari was sleeping and recovering from the birth the previous day, King Sinbad took care of the baby Badr's needs. He then was finally able to sleep with his beloved Queen after getting up a couple of times to tend to the little boy's every need. All of a sudden, in the early hours of the next morning, Sinbad started having the same nightmare he had after Hikari died, the nightmare was the day Hikari was hit by the dark ice.

He pictured the blood everywhere, Judar's evil laugh at the site of her death, and the tears of him and Mihala as they stood over her. He also pictured Hikari's last words and her body disappearing in front of his eyes, as well as him holding her telling her, "Don't go my love! Please!" And him shouting, "HIKARI!" And falling to the ground in tears as her body faded away in magic.

He started hugging Hikari more tightly, to the point she woke up and couldn't breathe. "S-Sin..?" She whispered as she turned and saw tears flowing down his eyes and his teeth gritting. Hikari realized he might be having a nightmare and shook him, "Sin, I'm right here love! Sin!" She whispered as she shook him a little harder until he finally opened his eyes. He saw her in front of him, "H-Hikari?" She put her hands on his face wiping his tears, "Hey... it's ok... calm down..." He hugged her tightly with tears still in his eyes. "Shhh it's alright... same nightmare again...?"

He nodded and looked away in guilt. She sighed and rubbed his cheek with her thumb. "Nothing will happen to me again, I promise. I'm right here... I'm not gonna leave you guys again..." He nodded and put his face into her chest. She rubbed the back of his head as she looked over at Badr's crib. She smiled seeing him sound asleep. She looked back down at Sinbad as he lifted his head and kissed her. "I'm fine now, sorry I woke you up, my love..." She smiled a little, "Hey it's ok, I'm glad you did, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to wake you up from that nightmare." He smiled a little and nodded.

"Try to go back to sleep ok? It's still early in the morning." He nodded and laid close to her wrapping his arms around her. She turned the same way and laid her hand on his cheek on the pillow side. They both fell asleep again with no hesitation. King Sinbad held her close as she laid her head on his chest. Badr however started crying again and woke them back up. "I got him dear," Sinbad said as he got up and went over to his crib and rocked him back to sleep. She lay on the bed looking at them smiling, "My boys..." she thought to herself.

Sinbad put Badr back in his crib and came back over crawling into the bed and held Hikari close to him once again as they drifted off to sleep. A few hours later, Hikari was the first one to wake up, she kissed Sinbad on the forehead and went to the bathroom to get showered and changed. All the stomach pain after the birth had gone away and she was able to walk around again after a day. She was wearing her queen dress once again with her brown sandals and veil but she kept her hair down. She then put on her royal gear and headed for the door.

As she quietly shut the door behind her, she noticed Jafar standing ahead of her bowing, "Morning my Queen." She smiled shaking her head, "How many times do I need to tell you, just call me Hikari and you don't need to bow every time but a good morning to you Jafar." He laughed a little, "It's a habit Hika, sorry." She laughed as well, "No worries." Jafar then looked over, "Is Sin still asleep?" She looked over at the door, "Yeah he is, he had to get up a few times to tend to the baby's needs. He also um you know what..." Jafar sighed, "Had the same nightmare again?"

She nodded, "He almost suffocated me so I had to wake him up once again." "I figured." Jafar said as he looked down sighing, "How can we get that out of him, it's the same memories, the blood, the evil laugh, and you disappearing in magic." She looked over at him, "I might have a spell that can clear it from his mind, but I'm not sure if it'll work for sure. I still need time to prepare it.." Jafar nodded, "That kind of magic takes months, I know." She nodded and looked at him, "I think I've mastered it by now though. It'll erase it from his mind but probably not from his heart." Jafar nodded slightly as he looked up at the blue sky.

"How's the baby?" He looked back at her smiling. "He's fine, happy, and healthy.." she said as she smiled looking at him. "What did you guys name him?" She looked up at the sky, "I let Sin pick his name and he chose Badr." Jafar gasped and smiled a little, "He named him after his late father huh?" She looked at him nodding, "Yes indeed, I mean his father was practically his best friend, well before he was killed in the war 20 years ago of course." Jafar sighed and looked down, "And 10 years after that, I killed my parents as a young assassin.." She walked over and put her hand on his shoulder. "Hey, it's in the past now, nothing to be sad over. If it wasn't for Sin, you, me, Mystras, Hinohoho, and Rurumu wouldn't have come together. Too bad we lost her though..." Jafar sighed but nodded in agreement, "This kingdom wouldn't be here either if it wasn't for Sin." She nodded smiling, "Exactly, so don't fret over it." He smiled back and nodded, "I won't, I'm just lucky I have you 2, and the generals, and I guess I'll count the 3 kids since they have been a big help."

All of a sudden, they heard crying, Hikari smiled and shook her head, "I'll be right back." Jafar nodded and she quietly entered the room and picked up little Badr as she crept out the door and closed it behind her. She walked back to him holding the child upwards on her shoulder as he calmed down and fell back asleep. Jafar looked at him smiling, "He looks just like his father, so precious." She nodded, "Yes he does, I couldn't agree more." Sinbad then came out the door rubbing his eyes. They turned and saw him, "Morning Sinbad." Jafar said smiling. "Morning Jafar, Morning my dear." Hikari looked at him smiling, "Morning my King." He saw Hikari holding little Badr on her shoulder as he slept. "Luckily I made a basket for him for later months, he's light for right now." She laughed a little as she looked down at her baby. Sinbad nodded and they all walked to the outside of the castle. Outside, they saw Aladdin training with Yamraiha at Sinbad's request. "Halhar Infigar!" Aladdin said as fire blasted from his staff up to the sky. Yamraiha looked at him smiling thinking to herself, "What power, he may be a little perv but he's still a Magi anyway." Yamraiha saw them over and smiled at the sight of the baby. Hikari, Sinbad, and Jafar then kept walking.

They reached the front of the palace and saw Morgiana fighting Masrur in the front yard. They stopped at the sight of Queen Hikari holding their new baby and ran over to have a closer look. Morgiana clutched her fist squealing, "He's so cute!" Hikari said, "Shhhh!!" Morgiana realized and covered her mouth whispering, "My bad, sorry." The 3 laughed as the 2 Fanalis laughed with them. Sinbad asked, "Have you seen Alibaba anywhere miss Morgiana?" She nodded and said, "I believe he and Sharrkan went to train somewhere, I don't exactly know where though." Sinbad nodded smiling, "Thank you, kind girl." She nodded and she and Masrur went back to fighting.

Badr suddenly opened his eyes and started crying again. "I'll do it this time, you guys go ahead." Hikari said smiling and walked towards their bedroom." The 2 men nodded and went off in the opposite direction to see how the rest of the generals were doing since they didn't have anything else to do. Meanwhile, in town, Sharrkan took Alibaba to a bar full of people they didn't even know. Alibaba asked him, "Um is this supposed to be my training?" Sharrkan looked at him smiling, "Nah kid, we are just gonna let loose and have fun before all that!" Alibaba was hesitant but went along with his trainer's plans anyway.

The remaining generals got to see baby Badr and congratulated them. Pisti was over the moon at the sight considering she loved babies and loved taking care of them. Jafar then looked at King Sinbad, "We have to get going your majesties, remember the meeting with Prince Hakuryuu regarding the incident with his sister, the princess? Both nodded and Hikari pulled out the basket she made and put the sleeping baby in it as she then put it on her back. Sinbad smiled at his sleeping baby boy as Mihala was left in the care of the generals. They followed Prince Hakuryuu to the docks as they got on the boat and set off for the Kou Empire.
