part 7- The human attraction #2

Walking into the school something felt off, not like anything dangerous was around but as if the air around me changed. Jasper was still right beside me as I secretly grabbed his pinky and held onto it as we got to our lockers.

"What's wrong?" Jasper got straight to the point feeling what I was feeling making him more on edge looking for the cause of my new found discomfort.
"It's probably nothing love, let's just go to class yeah?" Was my reply although he didn't believe me he kept quiet and went along with Alice and I dropping us off at math.

*Time skip to lunch*

"Hey, Alex , Alex , Alexander!" Edward tries to get my attention but I'm too invested in my sketchbook to notice till he grabs me from behind basically hugging my back creating me from my movements.
"Huh, oh yeah, what's wrong?" I asked still not looking up from my sketch. He let out a huff and grabs my chin making me look at him. We both said nothing just letting ourselves be engrossed with each other.
"Like what ya see?" I joked losing the staring contest with a smirk.
"And if I say yes?" He raised an eyebrow at me pulling me closer to his chest.
Just as I was about to say something the rest of my mates stroll around the corner laughing at one another as Emmett said one of his lame but loveable jokes.
"You guys coming or what?" Em yells at us walking through the cafeteria doors.
"That's our que, is it not " I pulled away strutting through the doors myself.
Walking in the humans all turned to watch whispering about us , spreading rumors faster then my fire.

"And him there with the curly black hair that's , Alexander aka Alex, he's single, artistic, beautiful,"a girl voice started ,
"And will never be yours!" A males finished along with a slapping sound. I roll my eyes and went straight to my usual seat blocking everything out.
After a bit I look up to notice Edward staring intensely at something, so I turn my head to see a human girl with long chestnut hair and chocolate eyes. Something pulled me to her but I didn't know what, whatever it was kinda scared me.
" You feel it too?" Eddie questioned me what ever he was feeling was definitely more intense then what I was but the pull was still there.
I nod my head looking back at my drawing ignoring the look from my beautiful long haired blond mate. It was filled with disappointment and fear which was understandable, she didn't know what was going on, don't get me wrong I also do not.
The bell rings telling us it's time to go, I follow Edward to our class in silence both stuck in our own minds. I sat down not listening to the boy next to me just wishing I was at home.
The next thing I knew a wonderful sent filled my nose, looking up it was her as she walked by a fan making Edward cover his nose with this hand.
