Dylan's pov

After getting sent to camp green lake it was a long bus ride, a police officer sitting next to me had handcuffed my hands and i just stared out the window as i seen nothing but boys digging holes...the bus stopped and i heard guys shouting " yo, fresh meat " but when i stepped off the bus i heard " its a girl? " And " their letting girls in the camp now? " The police officer showed me to the office and sat me down in the seat as a man shoved sunflower seeds in his mouth

" Whats up with the sunflower seeds man? " The police officer asked the guy

" I give up smoking" the guy said as he looked at my file

" Dylan jones, my name is mr. Sir whenever you talk to me you will call me by name...is that clear? " Mr. Sir asked me

" Yes, mr. Sir " i said sweetly

" This isnt a girls scout camp i dont care if you are a girl " mr. Sir said as he just looked at me

" You thirsty dylan? " Mr. Sir asked me

" Yeah " i said

" You better get used to it your gonna be thirsty for the next 19 months " mr. Sir said as we walked outside and i got the handcuffs off and mr. Sir explained some stuff and we walked to a room where a guy with long hair winked at me and i rolled my eyes as mr. Sir handed me an orange uniform

" You get 2 uniforms one for work and one for relaxation...after your done digging your holes your work clothes get washed and your relaxation clothes become your work clothes " mr. Sir said as i changed into my relaxation clothes and the guy that had long hair smirked at me

" When you dig a hole your hole must be 5 foot deep and 5 feet in diameter...your shovel is your measuring stick...you make a bad boy or girl dig a hole and it makes them good... that's our philosophy at camp green lake " mr. Sir said as a guy with a weird hat and sunscreen on his nose walked into the room

" Dylan, you may have done some bad things but that does not make you a bad girl...i respect you dylan " the guy said as he introduced himself to me as dr. Pendanski and we shook hands

" Start that touchy feely crap im outa here " mr. Sir said

" Give her some towels and some tokens and show her around " mr. Sir said as he left the room and we walked outside

" Welcome to camp green lake...you are in d tent d stands for diligence...over their is the rec room, the showers and over their is the wardens house...we have one rule at camp green lake and that is do not upset the warden " dr. Pendanski said as i nodded

" Hey mom, who's the new girl? " A boy said he was fit and african american with dirty glasses and another boy was african american but overweight and the other boy was fit and Caucasian with a tan and had a toothpick in his mouth and a bandana and hat on his head

" Oh this is dylan " dr. Pendanski said

" So what's happening with barfbag? " The overweight boy asked dr. pendanski

" Oh, lewis wont be returning... he's still in the hospital....dylan, this is rex, alan and Theodore " dr. Pendanski said

" Yo, my names xray thats squid and armpit " xray said as i nodded lightly and looked at the boy with the toothpick in his mouth

" Him, hes mom " squid said as he just glared at me like he wasn't to happy about a girl being at camp

" They all have their little nicknames for each other...but i prefer to use the names their parents gave them and that society recognizes them by " dr. Pendanski said as squid gave me a dirty look and rolled his eyes and sighed as dr. Pendanski smiled

" Squid, you can be Dylan's mentor " dr. Pendanski said as squid face sank to a frown

" Why me? " Squid said with his southern accent

" Because i know you two will get along " dr. Pendanski said as we walked over to d tent and i was wearing my orange uniform but i wrapped the arms around my waist and my curly brunette hair brushed against my shoulders im Caucasian so i get dry skin easily so i brought lotion to camp

We walked to d tent and squid showed me my cot and sat down on his cot xray sat on his and armpit layed on his as two other boys walked into d tent

" This is dylan..." Dr. Pendanski said

" What's up im magnet and thats zigzag " magnet said as i lightly said hi

" Thats stanley and this is zero...you wanna know why they call him zero because theres nothing going on in this little head of his " dr. Pendanski said as i smirked

" Or he just doesn't like answering dumb questions " i said as zero smiled and dr. Pendanski walked out

" Did they tell you about the lizards? " Zigzag said as i shook my head

" Who wants to tell her? " Xray said

" Okay, i might as well do it because im her mentor " squid said as he looked at me as he explained the lizards and then i heard a bell going off and all the boys walked out

" What is that? " I asked squid

" Its the dinner bell...come on " squid said as we walked to the cafeteria and grabbed our trays and got our lunch as i sat in between stanley and zigzag and squid rolled his eyes at me

" So dylan since you didnt dig today you wouldn't mind giving up your bread to someone who did now would you? " Xray said as he went to grab my bread but i smacked his hand away and squid had to fight a smirk forming on his face as he looked at me

" So dylan what'd they get you for? " Zigzag asked me

" I stole a pair of shoes " i said as they all snickered

" Thats why Stanley's here " squid said  as i ate my food

" What kind of shoes were they? " Xray asked me

" Regular shoes " i said as zigzag got confused

" How did they get you? " Magnet asked me

" I was shopping and i put the shoes in my bag and a store associate stopped me " i said as the snickered

" Aw, squid i made you smile " i said sweetly as he shook it off

" Dont get used to it " squid said rolling his eyes
