Dylan's pov

We sat in a circle and magnet started asking questions and xray and then armpit and caveman and zigzag, but when they got to squid they gave him a dare

" Magnet, truth or dare? " Armpit asked magnet

" Truth " magnet said

" Is it true you stole a puppy from a store? " Armpit asked magnet who nodded

" Squid, truth or dare? " Magnet asked squid

" Dare " squid said

" I dare you to kiss fear " magnet said as squid rejected the dare and got up and walked out and i followed him and he turned to look at me as i slowly took the toothpick out of his mouth and i could hear his heart beating like crazy

" Squid, its a game " i said as squid was breathing heavy

" Not to me " squid said as i rolled my eyes

" I know what this is about....its about me reminding you of why your here "i said crossing my arms as squid got annoyed

" No its not " squid said

" Yeah it is " i said

" Im sorry i remind you of why your here " i said as squid rolled his eyes

" Forget it " squid said as the boys were watching from the tent

" come on squid, We're both going through the same thing...i know we can be friends squid " i said as squid got annoyed

" No we cant...we have nothing in common " squid said as i scoffed

" Ever since i got to this stupid camp you've been treating me like dirt...stanley and zero and the guys are the only ones nice to me..." I said as squid rolled his eyes

" That's it, get out of here before i put you in the hospital with an iv " squid said as i scoffed at him and rolled my eyes and swatted his hand out of my face as squids posture relaxed and his face sank in confusion as his eyes had a dazed look in them

" I know im the only girl here at camp and its hard for you to accept that...but i know we can get along if we both just- " i said but got cut off by squid grabbing my shoulders tightly and kissing me on my lips as i gasped and my eyes widened and i was in shock that squid was kissing me after the way he's been treating me

Magnet's pov

I watched as fear tried to apologize to squid for reminding him why he's at camp when squid cut her off by kissing her like he was dazed out and i couldn't tell if i was seeing what i was seeing so i tried standing on my tippy toes to get a better look and back on my heel and made a confused face as i leaned against armpit, armpit had a shocked look on his face along with zigzag and xray took off his glasses and cleaned them with his fingers as he put them back on like he thought he wasnt seeing it right and stanley face sank to a frown and shock and zero sat on his cot confused as we all looked at each other trying to figure out if squid really kissed fear and back at them

Dylan's pov

After what seemed like forever squid slowly pulled away from the kiss and got nervous as his face said okay that just happened and i was still in shock and he let go of my shoulders and he didnt know what to say and neither did i but we just stared at each other in shock and squid put his hat on his bandana and still felt confused and in shock

" S-sorry " squid said as he looked at me and i kinda smiled alittle

" I-its cool " i said as squid didnt know what to say

" Maybe we should try to get some sleep " squid said as i nodded and we walked back to the tent and we layed in our cots and i smiled and squid was still in shock but smiled alittle
