The game was called "Gun Gale Online" or 'The World of Guns' As many people will refer to it. You? Well... you were one of the best players in the World to play GGO. Many people came up with nicknames for you! They had "The Shadow" and "The Best of the Best" but you thought the last one was a bit dramatic.
You just walked out of a store after purchasing some ammo, grenades, and a new rifle that came in the latest update of GGO. You walked out to the street heading to the motorcycle lot until a man ran up to.
"Help us! We need help!" The man said with a horrific face.
"Who? Who needs help?" You say as you grab the man by his shoulders.
"My squad! We were doing a new Raid that came out in the new update! If we die we lose all our progess and gear!" He said as he stood up fully and tried to calm down.
"Ok were is it?" You ask as the man pulled out a map and pointed to the exact spot the raid was.
"Ok... I'll help." You say as you equip your armour real quick. You equiped "The Armour of the Steel Mariden" It looked like a normal piece of armour except it was (F/C). Then you Equiped "The Cloak of the Shadow" which looked like Arno's Master Assassin Robe only Black and Grey. Then you just equiped a scarf the simply was named "Winter Scarf".
Then you got on a motorcycle and drove off into the desert to the raid.
*Time Skip*
You arrive at the raid and see a group of soliders and human bot fighting at the entrance of a base. You walk up to the squad of people and only one catches your eye... She had a semi-reveling armor and a scarf with tourqouis eyes and light blue hair.
They all look at you and all the main squad is suprised except the girl in blue hair.
"Need a hand?" You say in your deep voice.
"It cant be... The Shadow? What are you doing here? Dont you have better thing to do then save a good for nothing squad doing a raid?"
You chuckle "Well... Yeah... but this looked like a special case and i thought i lend a hand."
Then another girl spoke up. " boy do we ever! If we die, then we lose all our progress and gear." She said on the verge of tears. You then look at the base and see the enemy formations.
'Only four enemys left' you smirk.
"Stay here." You say as you jump over the edge.
The girl who spoke to look at you and yelled "My Hero!" The girl with blue hair just rolled her eyes.
You land and run up to a little cliff and jump and shoot an enemy with your assault rifle and watch him explode into crystals. Then you quickly open your menu and equip a burst rifle and fire to the enemys on the top of the base easily killing one before taking cover.
The enemys started to focus on you and fire only at you. Then a sniper barely missed you and you threw a grenade at him and killed him. You then walked to the rig and pulled out a sniper from your inventory. You focused and managed to headshot him through the bulletstorm he was sending your way.
You then jump down and equip you Assault Rifle again and started to walk away. Then the entire squad ran up to you.
"Wow that was Amazing!" The girl said to you. You trun around and faced them. You then open up your menu and sent them a message that said your real name.
"Invite me..... when you need me..." you then turn around and walk away. Every one looked at the message and read "(Y/N)" out loud. Then the squad leader ran up to you.
"Hey... um... (Y/N)... um... are you in a squad?" He asked you.
"No... but i can join yours if you want." You say as you smirk. The man nodded in excitement and sent you a squad invite. You accept it and joined "The squad of Avengers". You smirk thinking that you finally found a place were you belong again.
"Well since we will all be working together then lets get to know each other." He then walked over to the squad and named then one by one.
"This is Arnold." He said as he pointed to the man. You gave him a hand shake."nice to meet you." Then he walked next ro him."This is Alexandra." He pointed at the girl with the SMG. "Hello" you say as you shake her hand. Then he walks over to the girl with light blue hair. "And last but not least, our sniper, Sinon." You shake her hand. "A pleasure to.... meet you." You both look into each others eyes until Alexandra speaks up.
"Oh! Sparks!" She said
You two break apart with a major blush on Sinons face.
"Ok... were do go now?" Arnold said.
"Well, we can go to my house to relax." You say.
"That sounds fun!" Alexandra said.
"Yeah, oh and my name is Jacob." The squad leader said.
After that you guys made your way back to the city.
