"The Scarlet Overhang?" Sinon asked.
"Yep, all they way at the edge of the map, must be why not a lot of people found this place yet." You reply as you dismount the bike and gather your gear. Sinon does the same as she loads her Hecate Sniper. You toss her some mountain climbing gear. She catches it and glances at you.
"Trust me, you're gonna need it." you say as you grab your rope and gear. You proceed into the cave with Sinon in tow. As you enter the cave you feel the humidity rise as it becomes more and more harder to breath. You see fungal pods growing in secluded corners of the cave. You feel Sinon get closer to you. (Y/N), its kinda hard to breath and these fungal pods have me kinda worried." She said as she caught up to you.
"I can't do much against the humidity but I can say the fungal pods are harmless, they're just there. you know, for show." you say reassuring her to a calmer state. As you two progress deeper into the cave you because abundantly clear that you to could no longer take normal breathes. As you two struggle to breath you notice your health start to drain. You panic and grab Sinons hand and run down the hallway. You see a light at the end of the hall and make a mad dash to the light. As you pass through the light you see that you and Sinons health were at red. Just as you where about to pop a health potion you see a buff pop up and completely heal you and Sinon.
"Mercy of Kalmiya?" Sinon asked as she stands up from catching her breath.
"Must be a buff after that encounter. I don't remember that ever happening." You say as you see the congratulation icon pop up. You read it out loud.
"Congratulations: You beat the opening encounter of this raid, The Trial of Nizoth. Nizoth?" You say as you get up as well. "Wait, Raid!?"
Sinon looks at you just a little worried. "Is a raid bad?"
"Sinon, a Raid is a true test of might. It'll take at least four of us to beat a raid. We are only two. The only way out is a team wipe, so we both have to die." You say as you walk over to an edge of a cliff.
"Oh. Well we can try until we fall right? We still get the XP right?" Sinon said as she joined you at the cliff edge.
"Totally, just need to get as far as we can ok?" You extend you hand for her to grab. She looks at it and blushes a bit. She takes your hand and you squeeze tightly. "Hold on now." you say to her. "Hold o-" She was cut off by you jumping of the edge and you taking her with you. She yells in fear as she cuddles up to you in fear. You laugh as you hold her as you two free fall from the edge. You two get caught on something in which looked like a gravity well. You let go of her but she clings on to you with a vice grip of fear. You laugh as you two touchdown safely. She lets go slowly and looks around. You chuckle as she looks at you with anger.
"Why would you do that!?" she tells you as she slaps your arm. You chuckle more as you shrug.
"Was still hooping they had the gravity well. Looks like they still did." You chuckle at your response. She just looks at you in disappointment. "You didn't even know if they kept the well?"
"Well, Not really." You say as you shrug and walk down a new location. "Just don't risk thiese things ok?" Sinon said as she followed you to the next encounter.
A/N: Ok guys, this is gonna be a three part raid type thing in this story, wonder what will happen to you guys, huehuehue.
