As you and Sinon continue on into the raid you start to think about future encounters there are two bosses than the final boss. You never made it to the final boss battle before you don't know how to beat it, that's talking about if you guys make it. You snap out of your deep thought state to see a cliff and at the bottom of that cliff is a massive arena. Sinon lightly punches your shoulder.
"You ready for this?" She asks you with a smile.
"Yeah... Let's do this!" You say with confidence.
You set up two spikes into the ground while Sinon looks at you with confusion.
"What are you doing?" She asks.
"What? You didn't expect us to just float down this time did you?" You say in a joking manner.
"We can just fly down no?" She replies.
"No... we don't have wings here." you say as you chuckle a little.
Sinon blushes as she just realized she wasn't her avatar for ALO. She had been spending a long time in ALO before she hoped onto GGO again. She sees you setting up the climbing gear you had and she proceeds to do the same. You hang over the edge to test out the rope. Your rope manages to hold and you hang on the edge wating for Sinon. Sinon finishes and hangs over the edges to tests her rope out. Her rope holds and you look up at your rope. Sinon looks at you and lightly punches your shoulder again.
"Hey, we got this man. Don't worry." she said with a smile. This sent your heart racing and you don't know why.
"I know." was all you could muster out in the moment. "Let's go." You begin to rapple down as Sinon follows.
Mid-way into climbing, you see small pebbles and rocks start falling past you and Sinon. You look up and see a huge chunk of rock slipping off of the cliff. You panic and jump to the side and stop moving as Sinon looks at you and proceeds to look up. She sees the boulder is about to hit her so she braces herself. The boulder makes contact with snaping her rope and making her fall. You reach out for her but she is already near the ground. You straighten your rope and quickly start to decent to the ground. You reach the ground and detaching yourself from the rope. You run over to Sinon to see she has little health, One attack from a low level enemy would end her. You turn her around to see her smiling at you.
"Well, worse could've happen..." She says as she tries to get up. She fails as she holds her abdomen in pain. You lay her back while holding her head up.
"Don't try to move yet." You say as you pull out a healing potion. You hold it up to Sinon's mouth and proceed to make her drink it. She drinks it and looks at you with worriful eyes.
"Don't worry, I have plenty, just rest and let the potion do its job." You say as you sit her near another rock.
"What about the boss? You'll need help." She says trying to get up. You hold her down.
"Don't worry, I've fought and killed him before, I'll be fine. I'll hold him back so you can heal and then help, ok?" You say.
"Ok." Sinon replies.
Then, you both hear a loud crashing sound come from the center of the room...
A/N: Hey guys IceWolf here, Im not dead! I told you guys a chapter would come soon and here it is! If it's not as good as before, I'm sorry just had massive writers block but I had to get this chapter out. I'll try to churn out more chapters sooner so don't worry. I wonder what the boss will be? huehuehuehue....
